0:00You guys nice as Josh man, welcome to Jacksonville, what was the moment kind of like when you saw the what goes through your head and you see the phone ring? To be honest, my my heart kind of dropped for a second. I looked to my mom like mom, the phone's ringing. She's like answering boy. So yeah, no, I was definitely definitely decided, definitely happy. I'm just definitely blessed to be in this position. Like I said, a little bit before just my whole journey from where I started to where I'm going to go. It was definitely surreal feeling is definitely a dream come true and something I've dreamt about ever since I first started playing football and I'm excited to like I say get to meet my new teammates, get to be in a whole new city and just to experience all the new news. And you were pretty dynamic punt returner in college. What goes through your head when you see a punt in the air and you're getting ready to catch it. What's what what's what are you thinking? Yeah, so I played running back kind of early on before I switched to receiver. And so whenever the ball is in the air, my thing is just to get at least the first down and after that go score touch now. So that's always my mindset.

1:05And it's always for let the first guy tackle you. So I think just having that dynamic ability to be a receiver, a partner and kind of helping all those units. Something that can definitely bring to the table. Congratulations, Josh. Yes, sir. Thank you. Hey, Josh, congratulations in terms of a your conversation just now with the Jaguars, but in general through the pre draft process. What's kind of the sales pitch for you as a player? What is it that you bring to the NFL? Yeah, for me, you're going to get a physical tough receiver, someone who likes to do the dirty work, someone who just likes to do it all and someone who is really, I guess you can say unicorn. Not your stereotypical receiver body type wise, but I think that works in my favor to where you can put and plug me into so many different positions and I'm just that guy who can really just do it all type deal. I bring my special teams ability as well. And so I'm just someone who can, like I said, just do it all. Totally not a lot of unicorns walking around, but if there is player who you've modeled your game after, who would that player be?

2:12I'm a player. I would have to say Pooge and Akua kind of watched him just throughout the process. You know, we were both in the Big 12, so just kind of seeing his journey from where he kind of started to where he's at now. And it's both kind of similar size. And so he's someone who I've been watching, someone who I've been tuned into. Awesome. Congrats, Josh. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Okay. Congratulations. I'm wondering how excited are you to join a group that has Travis Hunter and Brian Thomas Jr. All the receivers that we have here at the Jaguars? Yeah, no, it's going to be super exciting to get with those guys. You know, I played against Travis Hunter back in the Big 12 days. And so getting to be teammates is really cool. He's a dynamic player. He's someone who whenever he gets the ball in his hands is really special. And the same with Brian Thomas. That dude, he's a freak athlete. Someone who can make plays. And I'm just looking to come in and do the same thing.

3:12Add to the depth of the room. Be that difference maker as well. Mark. Yeah. Congrats, Josh. What's the significance of 34 seems like there's a story there. Are you going to have to give that up at the NFL level? So I'm hoping I can keep on wearing that in the NFL, but we'll see. Well, whenever the time comes for that decision, but really going back to number 34, really from eighth to ninth grade. That's when I switched to receiver. And so I was still wearing 34 as a running back. And then I had the decision to change my number again. I was like, shoot, I like to be a little different. I like to be, you know, I'm saying be my own person. So I'm going to rock that number 34 receiver. So I kept it all throughout high school. And then kind of same thing whenever I got to Baylor had the decision to I could have changed it. But I was like, shoot, this is me. I'm still going to be unique. I'm still going to be me. And it's going to remind me of the journey from walk on the wire now.

4:12So it's just kind of that dual piece. It's just kind of significant. And it means everything to me for sure. So when was the last time you wore a number that was not 34? I think seven grade, I believe. Or something like the eighth or seven grade. One of the, yeah. And what was the number? It was number five. Okay, it's number five. I wore number five before. And then a 528 squat. Is that that's got to be that's got to be fake news. No, it's not fake news. No, sir. That is very real coach. So when did you hit 528? That was this past or, yeah, this past off season. And then like two off seasons just hit 528. Is that part of the unicorn that you're talking about? No doubt. Yeah, that's not very normal for a receiver. Yes, sir, yes, sir. All right, that's going to, I think that'll probably resonate in an NFL locker room a little bit. That'll get you some credit right off the bat, right?

5:12Oh, yeah, for sure. Yes, sir. Okay, thank you. Thank you. We'll end here with Rachel. Hey, Josh, congratulations. I could see some people kind of in the background taking some video of you. Just what does it mean like to share this moment with them? Oh, man, it means everything. Everyone who's in this room has played such a significant role in my life has made an impact on my life. I one way or another. And so to share this moment with all of them, I mean, that's why I'm here today. It just impacted me in so many different ways from the off the field. That's how I carry myself to who I am today. I used to be a little shy, okay? We just say, hey, and my mom's like, boy, go, go, go talk to some people. And so just getting out of my show and just growing up to be who I am today. It's a, it's a really cool feeling. I'm blessed to have all these wonderful people in my life. Who's around you should get them all to come in and say, hey. Yeah, I'm gonna go inside real quick.
