00Ah, what's going on Orlando Magic fans? Welcome to the Six Man Show post-game live presented by Thrive-In. Son and I, you lose by 50. And tonight you beat a Western conference post-season team. Wow. 48 hours a lock and happen. Magic win, 115 to 111 over the Phoenix Suns. That's a big win technically mathematically. If you look at the at the standing, that's a very, very big win for the magic. And we're going to look at the standings here in a little bit. Very, very big for the seating implications and so on and so forth, especially right now. Every game is huge. Obviously, as the clock continues to tick on, honestly, as the calendar turns to April cannot believe we have made
03it to the end of the gauntlet that was March when the magic played 17 times in 31 days in the month of March insane. Fun fact, the magic went nine and eight in the month of March, actually above 500, which is hard to believe considering how it ended. But let's not forget the seven game win streak was in the beginning of the month. Pretty crazy. Anyway, welcome. We're here to talk about this Phoenix game. My name's Kevin Glad you with us. This is the Six Man Show post-game live. It's our live show here on YouTube after each and every Orlando Magic game. It doesn't matter if we win by 50 or lose by 50. We have one by 50 this season, lose by 50 or win by four. We're here. And this show is brought to you by Thrive-In. Mark Gaberham is a die hard Orlando Magic fan. And season ticket holder as well. Six sits in section 118. Him and his amazing family. And he is on a mission to help Orlando Magic fans be wise with their money. And so if you are looking for some help in the area of finances and maybe help isn't even the right word, maybe some guidance or maybe just someone in your corner to help make sure you are doing wise things with your money. You can give
06them a call at 407-366-4364 or shoot them an email visit his website. Those are in the description below as well. Whether you're thriving financially, things are going great and you're looking to be wise with what you have or maybe you're really, really struggling. 2026 is very, very hard in this economy as the phrase goes. And you're looking for some advice on how to put the pieces together. How to get your finances figured out doesn't matter what end of the spectrum you're on, Mark is there to help. He's a great guy and is obviously completely for Orlando Magic fans. So give them a call, talk a little magic basketball, talk a little finances. I promise you won't regret it. Big shout out to Mark and thrive it for sponsoring the show. I just, yeah. On the last episode of the podcast, I, with Jonathan, I said, I don't, I just, I'm not a professional athlete. I struggle with how these guys can just flip, flip the switch
09when they need to. You, you win, you lose really bad on Sunday. How do you just turn around and win a game 48 hours later against a good, a good Phoenix team, a team that you lost to last month. And they were missing a couple of the guys that play tonight. How do you do that? How do you even just be competitive, at least just be competitive in a game, much less win it. And so I have to tip my cap to the magic. Now, was this game perfect? Absolutely not. The first half had some great moments, right? You led by I think as many as 16. I think the largest lead tonight was 16. Let's see. Yeah, 16. You led by as many as 16. In the second half, second half, Phoenix obviously got back into it and made things way too close for comfort. But that's what we do as the Orlando Magic. We make everything way too close to for comfort this season. It's been really, really annoying. But again, I want, I'm not going to give a ton of credit to this team because of basically how the second half went. But I, well, it's not just the second half, honestly. The turnovers were crazy. A lot of fouls.
16It is what it is. But I will at least give them credit for bouncing back because they very easily could have after Sunday, just mailed it in, right? Hey, if we're going to go out there and lose by 50 in the biggest game of the season, there's only two weeks of season left seasons over. Just pack it up, right? But they didn't. They went out there. They played hard tonight and got a win against again. The good team. This is a team. Phoenix is going to be playing postseason basketball. Currently, the seven seed in the Western conference, three and a half games back of the six, three and a half games of back of the playoffs. I don't think they're going to catch Houston, obviously. But that's a good Phoenix team. A team that all has obviously surpassed all expectations. And so I do give the magic a lot of credit for that. Again, was this game perfect? Absolutely not. Were there mistakes and issues that were pretty consistent throughout the whole game? Of course. But I'll give them credit. And again, standings wise, it's a big win. It's a very, very big win. We'll look at the standings here in just a little bit. If you're new
18around here, this is what we're going to do. We're going to go to the super chats first. That's the best way to get involved in the show. We'll read those off. We'll check out some messages from the rest of the chat. We'll check out the box score. That's always interesting to go through that. The scores around the league and the standings. And then I have one other thing tonight. We're going to do a little bonus, little bonus segment, which will be fun. But first, let's go to our super chats. As we always do, Mr. TV is back. Channel members says, yay, play the song. Wow. After Sunday, I thought we'd never play the song again, losing that game in that way. So tie because you said it. And because we won, we finally once again for only the second time in the last nine games. Let's play this song.
26Let's go. Thanks for that super chat. Brian has a super chat. I love the win. But the bench is buns. It's time to move on from Welman to go magic. Play the song. Yeah. I that first sentence. That sounds about right. Yeah. I love the win. But the bench is buns. Yeah. The bench just continues. Now, I will say the the the the the normal bench wasn't good. You look at guys like goga, Javon Carter, Mo Wagner. But I thought Jamal Cain and J Howard were pretty good. Now Jets scored, now Jets defense, maybe not my favorite. But Jamal Cain, another guy I want to give credit for bouncing back. He may or may not have seen what the internet did with his game on Sunday, which was statistically one of the worst games in modern NBA history to be a minus 32 in I think eight
29minutes or something like that. Pretty crazy. And his stat line stuff. But he bounced back, played well, 12 points, three boards, three steals two of two from three. Then J Howard 12 points, two boards, two of three from three. Like offensively pretty good stuff. Now J Howard was still a minus 13. I think there are reasons for that. But yeah, outside that, though, the normal bench guys, Javon Carter, or goga batazaj, Javon Carter and Mo Wagner, not the best. Now Mo only played four minutes. He wasn't terrible. But you just you're just not getting enough production off the bench, typically right now. I agree. He craft with a super chat. If we played with 75% of this level of effort every game, we'd be in the five seed and making a push for three or four, which is most frustrating thing with this team. Yep, that sounds about right. It's the same thing we've seen
35from this team the previous two seasons, the previous two seasons. This team wasn't good offensively, right? What they were good at, though, was giving 110% effort every single night. And because of that, the previous two seasons, this team was in competitive basketball games almost every night, even when on paper, they should not have been. I think back to last season, when we had the horrible injury run in the month of December, without palo and without fronds, the magic one multiple games, they had absolutely no business winning. But how did they do it? They did it because they gave 110% effort every single night. Think back to two seasons ago, you win 47 games, a team that should not have won 47 games and how, how did that happen? Because this team gave maximum effort every single night, like every single night was a playoff game. That's how this team became what
38it became. And so for that to just not have happened this season, that I agree is the most frustrating thing with this team. Because you cannot watch, let's just say even two seasons ago, the 2324 magic side by side with this season's magic. For most games, look unrecognizable in the area of intensity and effort and hustle and physicality. Totally different. Why? Who knows? I don't know why. All I know is that's what my eyes tell me. It's not fun. Thanks for that super chat, eCraft. Mr. TV is back. It's because I wrote the DeVos family a letter. Now we're going to win out. Hey, I don't care if that's what it takes to win out, go for it. This is just such a weird one. Wait, let's see, Jane Lawson came in with the super chat, right at the buzzer says, I'm glad Brooks is an idiot. If we didn't get them started with his
40antics, they would have come out flat again. Yeah, it was interesting to hear how low at the end there. Excuse me, it's static. At the end there, Dante asked him, and he mentioned the sun started talking at the very, very beginning of the game. He said it was fuel pretty much. Shout out Dylan Brooks and everybody on the Phoenix bench. He had Dylan Brooks as a wacko man. Pretty crazy. But yeah, I thought that was interesting. But yeah, at the end of the day, big win. Hard to believe, big win. But is what it is. Let's do this. Let's go a little bit out of order here. Let me see. Is that other game? Okay, it's the end of the third in Detroit. Wow, the rockets are all over the nicks. Let's just do this really fast. Let's just go out of order just because of because of the situation with the standing and stuff. Let's just look around here. So the match beat the suns. Of course, the hornets beat the nets. No surprise. But this is the
43game that is still going on. Fourth quarter tipping off right now. The raptors trail the pistons by 19. So what does that mean? If we go to the standings right now, let me refresh these and see if we've got the Charlotte and Orlando games. Yep, they are. So the magic tonight are the eight seed, which is great. A game back of the sixers, two and a half games back of the hawks, and if that Toronto score holds, they are two games back of the Toronto raptors. Which is interesting. So tonight, the hawks and raptors going to flip if again, assuming Toronto doesn't come back, which they may. They're down 19. That's not unheard of in the fourth quarter. We'll be very surprising against the pistons, but that's not unheard of. So if that happens, Toronto is going to drop to six in Atlanta up to five. Now, of course, the magic play, the Atlanta hawks, in about 21 hours. So that's a huge game. But I say,
47let's say the magic would be just, and I cannot believe these words coming out of my mouth, given the last two weeks. But the magic would just be two games back of the playoffs, avoiding the play and altogether, two games back. And they're two and a half games back of the hawks, which means if they beat the hawks tomorrow, which I am not going to pick that at all, just based on form, if you will, these two teams are going completely different directions. But if the magic beat the hawks tomorrow, then the magic are only going to be two games back of five, and one and a half games back of six. It's kind of crazy. It's kind of crazy to think about. Now, of course, running out of time, there's only seven games left, but it's pretty wild, that that's even a possibility, kind of hard to believe. But here we are.
48Here we are. All right, let's go to the chat. We'll hit a few of these, and they won't check the box score, and we'll check on the raptors score again a little bit later in the show. But man, I'm just honestly, I'll just be honest, into the game, Tristan gets fouled. You're up two. Not that I don't believe in Tristan, so I do love Tristan, so I love Tristan, so a very long time. But I was just having flashbacks to the game in Phoenix. And all I could see in my head was Tristan going one for two, and it being a three point game. And then the suns. You know, good to get three, sending it to overtime, and then we lose and double over time. That's what was going through my mind. But, greatfully, didn't happen. All right, to the chat, we go. Channel member Tyler Morrison says, that poster done by Palo was insane. Another example of P5 not getting a whistle. I blame Mose for that too, because other coaches seem to be able to talk to the refs better,
49because P5 get fouled more than I'm assuming LJ is LeBron James, maybe. Yeah, first off, crazy, donk. Early clubhouse leader for Jamhot Chicken Jam of the Week on Monday's episode. But yeah, the mostly thing, I don't know. I mean, I feel like he does a lot of talking to the refs, but who knows? It's hard. I mean, obviously none of us are down there. We don't know what's being said, but maybe. As it says, at some point, accountability has to go both ways. Players get fined for mistakes. Refs should too. You know, the NBA officials association thing, they say, if I remember correctly, they say that there is accountability behind the scenes, like, refs can be punished and things like that, but it's all behind closed doors to my knowledge. They don't ever publicize
55repercussions or however you want to put it, right? So we'll never know what really happens. The only way you can really know is in about two weeks when they announced, maybe it's a little before that, when they announced the pool of refs that are going to be officiating the playoffs, that's that's basically the opposite. The good ones or better ones get rewarded with playoff games, which is more money. They get paid more for playoff games. And obviously you just get paid considering the fact that you you've made the playoffs, right? You see which ones get promoted to that, which ones don't? And then you know who had good seasons and who had bad seasons. Yeah, lots of fouls tonight. It's kind of a mess. No, definitely a mess. All right, we're still in the game looking at the chat here. Let's see if I can keep going down and aha, there's the big main shot. I see that and there's the end of the game
56where I see a couple of channel members throwing off some of the fun emojis, Christian with the Jonathan emoji and Mr. TV with the play the song emoji, which love those love those. Um, Nikolai says didn't watch the game, but nice to see Jalen didn't jack up 48 triples. Yeah, Jalen was great tonight. Jalen six of 11 from the field two of five from three made all six free throws eight boards seven assists four steals. He did have six turnovers, but there were a lot of turnovers tonight. Four for Palo, six for Wendell, five for Desmond, six for Jalen. It's crazy. And yet it's our second worst turnover game of the week. Figure that one out. Wild. Jalen lost one of the super chat says I believe it if foster and brothers didn't exist. Here I can't get fined by the NBA. Here's the thing with Scott Foster and Tony brothers. I actually think they are two of the best officials in the game. That's part one of my statement.
03Part two is that is why it is concerning slash alarming when they make some of the calls that they make, because I actually do think they are good officials. But sometimes they are show of a favored whistle. I'll put it that way. I think they're very good at their jobs, those two in particular. That's why I've been doing this this long. Not just good officials, but they are good at managing the court, right? That's that's almost just as much of a job of the NBA official as there is as is, you know, making foul calls or whatever is just managing some of the biggest personalities, the biggest athletes on planet earth and their coaches and the owners that might be, you know, front row or celebrity, whoever, right? Just managing the court. It's a big deal and those guys do it. Those guys are well respected by everyone I just mentioned. But, uh, but yeah, they also make
04some interesting calls that I don't think it's because they're bad refs. I think it's because they, you know, they lean certain ways when it comes to certain players or certain franchises or whatever. And that's the part that's concerning. David T. Channel member says we won, but why are we still not satisfied? That's a good question. I think, um, first off, we're just, we're just tired of every single game being closed. At least I am exhausting for every night to come down to the final possession or two is except for Sunday, of course. It's just brutal. It's brutal to do this 75 times. Um, but especially a night like tonight where you have that 16 point lead and and there were stretches in that first half where it felt like, okay, we're going to get some separation and we're just going to go win this game. And then every single time the opponent is allowed to get back into it. It's just a little bit frustrating. Uh, you, you TGM guessing that's united says if
10you rightly criticize the team for the absolute disgrace performance on Sunday, then you have to give them credit for bouncing back and beating a good team tonight. Need the same tomorrow 100% agree. 100%. This team was horrific on Sunday. Again, like I said at the top of the show, I can't, I can't believe they bounced back in the way they did, even though it wasn't perfect. Just to be in this game and not roll over and just like want to crawl into a hole for the rest of the season after being absolutely embarrassed on Sunday night, they absolutely deserve a lot of credit. Absolutely. Random thought. How many free throws did Devon Booker end up with 19? Okay, so he had 19 in the first three quarters and did not take another in the fourth. Interesting. David also says that anyone see Palo's interview at the end, that dude is not happy. I'll be honest, I thought the same thing as I was watching, the answers, the responses were shorter.
15And I don't know if it's a case of he's not happy or he's just overall frustrated still by Sunday or even parts of tonight or the official, the officials. Gosh, I'm struggling tonight. The officials or whatever. But yeah, it was very, very short. Very short. Legacy says five and two in the last seven. No. Not us. I wonder if your time wants something else because we are definitely not five and two in our last seven. Two and five in our last seven, actually. Brickwell says glad they showed up to play tonight. Absolutely. 100%. Lewis is already says jet is begging for his NBA career to stay in Orlando. Yeah, he was not bad tonight. Not bad. Ty Tassel says what happened to Moe Wagner? He's been horrendous and he's come back. He has not been the same. There is no denying it. Now, being out of basketball for an entire year,
18torn ACL is obviously very significant. It's going to take time to come back. I would like to think that, you know, we're sitting on almost three months now since he's been back. Well, actually, yeah, right at three months, since he's been back. Would like to think that's enough time to get back at least to like decent play, but I don't know. He's just not himself. And I hope this offseason, he can get that sorted out. Because obviously, I love Moe Wagner and want him to return to who he was, but man, he's not the same right now. Patrick Nurse says maybe Paulo is unhappy with his four turnovers. Yeah, maybe he was just frustrated with how he played tonight, because you only had 19, six of 14 from the fields. Not great four turnovers. Like you mentioned, not great. Not great. Let's see what else we got here. Okay. Blake says my first in person magic game is a
22dub. Let's go, Blake. Dang. I didn't know. Didn't know you weren't someone who frequents magic games. That's amazing. Way to go. Congratulations. And you got to win. It's a rare, rare feat this season. Flew from Delaware to watch this. That's incredible. So, so glad you got to do that. Very, very cool. Congrats on that. Congrats on the win. Heck yes, as Paulo and Jalen both seem very subdued even after the victory. Yeah, I think, hopefully, they're just still unable to just shake off Sunday. A night like Sunday should stick with the players for quite a long time. Honestly, not in a bad, not like a shameful way forever, but like you should have that in the back of your head like you never want to feel that way ever again. Ever again. And Jonathan says don't look now, but the magic of one two out of three. Hey,
23that's a 66% win percentage in the last three games. Elite numbers from the Orlando Magic. Elite. Pretty wild. Pretty wild. All right, let's do this. Let's, um, what in the world? Interesting. All right, uh, that's crazy. All right, let's do this. Let's go to the box for start of the box. We're here. Tristan, nine points. Oh, four from three, man. He had some good looks. He had a couple go in and out, ends up three of 11 from the field, three boards and a steel five hours. Paulo, we just talked about him, but 19 points, nine boards, eight assists. The one thing about Paulo, he's always going to fill the rest of the statute up. So near triple double again, but did have the four turnovers. You don't love that window with a double double 15 and 12 for him. Two steals did have six turnovers. Six turnovers as a big man is kind of crazy,
25guys. As, as, you know, if you, if you're like a primary ball handler, whatever, obviously, don't six turnovers, but it's more understandable. If you have the ball on your hands for 35 to 40 minutes a game to be this center and have six turnovers, it's just not great. This is not good. Let's not do that again. Uh, but we have Desmond Bain, 21 points, six boards, five assists, a steal in a block for him. He had five turnovers, but he had a big three late in this one. Or not a big three. It was, uh, well, he did have big threes, I guess tonight, but had that, uh, that layup, he had a couple big finishes in the fourth quarter. Actually, now I think about it. Had that beautiful one, uh, spun it off the glass like he does so often. That was great. Uh, and then Jalen played 37 minutes. Then I had 20 points, eight boards, seven assists, four steals, but again, six turnovers. So your back court, Jalen, Desmond combined for 11 turnovers, four starters combined for 21 turnovers. That's actually pretty crazy.
29Uh, Goga played 14 minutes off the bench, three points, two boards for him. Javon Carter did not score. It was 0 of six tonight, not his best performance. But then Jamal came 19 minutes for him, 12 points, three boards, an assist and three steals, and yet Howard, four of six on the field, two of three from three, 12 points, two boards, and then finished off with Mo Wagner tonight, four points, two of two from the field in four minutes of action. No appended to not play. Jace Richardson did not play. And uh, Franz and A B still up. Hard to believe. Really hard to believe. At this point, I'm like, are we just, are Franz and A B a hundred percent healthy? And they look really, really good. And the massacre just like holding these cards really close to the best. And then postseason just unleashing them and we go on a win a championship. I don't know. We'll see. Just getting magic shoot, 44% from the field, 34% from three, 85% at the line.
32But again, 25 turnovers. Good gracious day. 42 points to the paint for the magic lab or excuse me, 16 fast break points led by as many as 16, 31 points from the bench, 25 turnovers. Only 18 points off those turnovers for Phoenix. So that's interesting. All right. Let's check on that Toronto game. How's Toronto looking? They're down 17 with six and a half to go. Down 15 with 550 to go. Okay. Maybe it was just getting caught up. Let's see. Yeah. Down 15 with 550 to go. Still within reach unfortunately. But in the meantime, I want to do something a little bit different. I've got a new toy I've made. Me and my friend Claude. It's a rough draft. I've got a couple things I want to fix with it. But I think next week as we get down to the last, you know, five games or so. I guess that's end of this week. I might post this and make it public. So you guys can make this is basically like simulating the
37end of the season. The last remaining games. I made this a while ago back when Cleveland was still within reach. They're not anymore. So the new version, I'll get rid of Cleveland. The other thing I need to add, if you look on the left side of the screen, I don't have games back. I need to add games back. It games back column over here to make that a little easier to understand. But what this is, you can go through and pick wins and losses and losses of every team's games. I've got their whole schedule here. So Toronto looks like they might lose to Detroit. So if they lose this one tonight, you can see regardless of how it's happened. I've already put the magic win in for tonight. So the magic are going to finish the night as the eight seed, which is great. But then, you know, as the season goes by, you can sit here and the season goes by. There's a week and a half left. But you can sit here and, you know, predict wins and losses for each team and see how it shakes out in the standings and see teams move up and down and all that kind of stuff. I thought it was kind of interesting, kind of fun. Shout out to my friend Claude for helping
37me with that. But anyway, I'm going to tweak that, tighten it up, get rid of the games. They've already gone gone by and post that maybe. Maybe I'll put it in the chat this weekend for one of the games as we count down the final week of Magic Basketball, which is really, really crazy to think about that we are in that territory. All right, let's go back to the chat for a little bit and we're going to call it a night here. Let's see here. Kevin White says, mostly knows these are his last few games. You can see it in the post game. I believe I agree with that. Yeah, it does feel that way. And again, after Sunday, like, I don't, I would be very surprised if Jamal Mosley would argue after something like that that he should stay. Honestly, which is sad. It breaks my heart, but it's true. Todd Wickham celebrates two months of membership. Thank you so much, Todd, for being

So some people are, I mean, we've been having, we've had the membership for over six months now. So some of you have the six month star, which is pretty cool. Pretty cool. Let's see here. Heck yes, as with the two and one stress last three games, we are on a 55 win pace if that keeps up. Wow, look at us go. That's good enough to be a playoff team. Legacy Kivo says Mos got booed during his introduction. Dang, I missed that. Wow, that's wild. Wow, Blazer says the same thing. Interesting, and then Mr. TV with the awesome maniac emojis in the chat. Always appreciate that. All right,
42one last check. Oh my gosh, it's a 13 point game. Okay, 14 now. 14 point game with four and a half minutes to go. That feels like it might come see if they can make a game that I hope not. But regardless, all right, that's going to do it for us tonight folks. This is it back to back for us as well, because the magic are back in action tomorrow and not just the magic, but some of you listening to me watching me on YouTube. This is your time to shine tomorrow. It is our annual court of dreams experience tomorrow. So if you signed up for that many, many weeks ago when that came out in joy, that's going to be very fun. Jonathan is going to be there and I know he's going to absolutely break some ankles, knock him down from three. It's going to be very, very fun to watch all at 11 point game. You got to be kidding me Toronto. Anyway, if that's you, very, very excited for you. It's always a good time playing on Kia Center Court is pretty, pretty cool. Very, very happy for all of you to get to do that. But again, it's going to do it for us back to back,
46magic back in action tomorrow against the Atlanta Hawks, 7 p.m. to buff. That is a huge game for the standings. If the magic want to climb out of the play and this is a game you have to win.
