Well, I'm with Grestford Athletics Mitchell Williams-Mitch, a great win today and a much needed one. Yeah, fantastic win, you know, the lads weren't the sucks off. We had the game plan coming into it and we knew what they were going to be about, so we stuck to that and we couldn't really ask for more three points on the board and that puts us up to 10th I think now, so we're in a good position now. A great start as well, Hatchie, you know, getting the penalty as well. Yeah, he's done well, he's worked hard, or last couple of weeks and that's starting to show. He's getting goals and assists and he's working his sucks off up front and you know, he gets his rewards, he's done well to win the penalty, and then to slide it away in the top corner and I can ask for much more. To me, that was a bit of a bizarre game when it... Yeah, it was up and down, it was definitely heavy on the legs for us, but with the numerical advantage we should have put the game to bed really. We had some good chances, I think we just sort of took our foot off the gas a bit, you know, we dealt with our long balls that they were playing, we won our first, we won our seconds and yeah, it should have just been a little bit more clinical. The team always come back from setbacks, and the 7-1 at Flan did know you, you know,
you could have easily fallen apart, and then you come and beat Flint Mountain and then another victory again today, and you certainly like playing at Airbus, I think, I think since Dave and guys have been here, you haven't lost a game. No, I think we've made that into a real fortress, you know, the 7-1 at Flan did, no, that was obviously a fluke, you know, because the week before we've just gone and beat hardly well, 3-2, and we've just had one of their mad 20 minutes win against us, and we've just been caught and Flan did no wrong quality side, there's no denying that, you give them half yard and they're going to take the chance, but especially on this pitch, this is our home. Got a tricky game on Friday night at Lavin Park against Newtown, but a venue that probably nice to play on? Yeah, it's a great stadium, it's special, they do a lot of the Europa League games and Europa player, and we've been in Premier League ground last season, it's a good ground to play out, it's a similar surface to here, and we won't be looking into it, saying no, we're playing Newtown, it's going to be a tough game, we're just going to treat it as any other game,
same as we have the last few weeks, and you know, we get our results, and we just try our best, and that's all you can ask for, isn't it? I've seen you in the last few games yourself personally, I think you've developed very, very well in that midfield role. Last year, I remember you playing for Flan did know and fly, you seem to be really settled here. Yeah, definitely, I'm a rex and lads, I'm coming into the team, I knew after the team anyway, so that's definitely made things a lot easier, and it's a good group of lads that we've got, you know, everyone's clicked over, we're closing it team, you can't ask for much more, and it's just getting a minute in the legs, and playing into the system that we've got at the moment, keeping the ball, keeping it moving, winning our first and second balls, and it suits me, and playing next to, you know, in the midfield with Jan O'Connor, Toby Jake, they're all hardworking players, it makes it that bit easier as well. Good to see the captain back? Yeah, definitely, yeah, the team's not the same without him, but, you know, we worked that last week, and we still got the result, but it is good to have him back alongside me, yeah. Well done to know you
Mitch, congratulations. Thank you very much, Sam. Thank you very much.
