In fact, Algo is far a bizarre game. Yeah, so I think that was a good, good 90-minute performance from Alads today. I think Holyhead are a very good side who like the physical battle as well as as well as playing the game. So to keep our second clean sheets of the season wrong into a second clean sheet on the bounce, that's back-to-back clean sheets. There's a credit to our defence. I mean, we took some grief the season about the goals we've conceded, but I think to a man, our backline has been outstanding all seasons since I've been here and I can name the four of Elliott, Jamo, Hesby and Billy. They've been man-mountains all season and haven't, you know, when things have gone wrong, it's it I've never blamed

1:00the back four and today they've all been outstanding with duts behind them and, you know, we've played really well today. We've had lots of possession, we've created lots of chances. I think first half, you know, we were unlucky not to go two or three nil up at halftime. We've created some great opportunities and then when you've got the wind and you're only coming at one, you know that the hollyhead will see that as a positive and then a second half, I think we've defended, we haven't created a clear club chance and then, you know, there in the ascendancy when the red card goes our way, which it hasn't most games, but we'll take it and then we've seen out the game and then the squad, the squad, the subs that have come on, you know, Dan Wood sitting in in the back line, you know, that credit to the boys, we've done really well and everyone's positive in that changing room. And the winning goal scorer was a doubt just before the start of the game. Yeah, well, Hatchy, he didn't train on Tuesday and he gave himself his little fitness test

And I think from that performance, you could see he was all right and he's got himself another goal and another team of the week type performance off Hatchy. Well, you're on beaten here this season. The bad news is you've only got one home game left, got a tough run of games coming up a way at obviously, Mold, Pen and Cork, teams that are down that bottom end as well, but you've overtaken today's opponents, you've gone up. So things looking positive here. Yeah, they're massively positive. I mean, I mean, when we come in, we were sat bottom of the league, you know, nearly getting cut adrift and in all of a sudden we're now sat tenting the league and you know, any manager will tell you it's nice to have that breathing space and you don't want to go into a weekend thinking, you know, you might, you might be third from bottom or you might be bottom. So now we've given ourselves two weeks grace at the worst of things where

3:15if we don't pick up results and everyone else does, but to go eight points clear of the bottom two is a big deal and you know, our fixtures, they're all tough and after we, you know, on the form guide, we were of the last six games, we were sat sixth in the league and during them six games, we played the top three. So, you know, we fear nobody in that changing room, but we respect everybody. So we know everyone's going to be a tough game and no one will want to play us, like we don't want to play them, you know, it's the mutual respect thing, but we've got to change the room now that's on a high. I mean, unfortunately a couple of lads now for a couple of weeks haven't got off the bench because games are always too tight and I never like happening and that happening. So it's about me trying to manage the squad, not just the 11, but yeah, onwards and upwards and you know, bring on the next game and the next challenge and we see that as a positive.

No, they'll take the positive out of that and you know, Riffin to go and then lose three, two to Rill. They'll go again and neither of them teams will give up. And I think from us in 10th all the way down, it still could be anybody. Someone's just going to put that run together and at this and I know first hand from the scars of last season that what can happen. And if you were speaking

5:18to Banger in this position last year that, you know, no one would have predicted what happened to them. So every manager now will be dying for points on the board, points on the board. No one wants games in hand, everyone wants points on the board, you know, so we can get to that last week, the week before it and hopefully mathematically you're safe because until that moment, everybody will be looking over their shoulder. And new time Friday, like I say, doesn't get any easier, does it? No, it doesn't, you know, and Lenny at Newtown, he's got a quality football base side there and we'll try and go there with that with our game and look forward to the challenge. But as I said earlier now, you know, anything that we get at Newtown's a bonus, that's that there, they're not our race, they're not our competition. So we'll go there with a sense of freedom to go there and play, we'll have the freedom of knowing we've got points in the bank, but quite confident we can cause them problems. And on any given day, when the rubber, the green goes a bit your way, we could go to Newtown and what, what a place to go and try, try and get a result Newtown.
