Positivity Is Rebellious

About this episode

What if the boldest rebellion isn’t loud at all, but a quiet decision you make before your feet hit the floor? We explore how choosing positive expectation rewires your day, shifts your attention, and makes you the steady one in a world that profits from panic. Instead of letting cynicism set the agenda—prices, traffic, stress—we walk through a simple framework to prime your mind for wins and spot solutions faster.

And, as a special bonus, I want to give you FREE access to my signature course, Slay Your Year (usually $997)! All you have to do is:

Simple as that!

0:00Welcome to Let It Be Easy with Susie Moore. Here is how to be an incredible, helpful, awesome revel. Expect good things. Think about that every single time you wake up, the day isn't written, you get to write it. That's how much of a powerful creator that you are. But if you look around, you will see that most people lead with cynicism. They start the day where they didn't get enough sleep. They go through the day thinking that all the prizes are going up and the world is against them. They're quick to complain about their boss or their co-workers. You get the picture, right? And it's not to say that things on the external aren't changing and maybe don't require some change or some shifts from us. But what if you're the person, what if you are the very unique minority, rebel, who expects

1:06good things? Abraham Hicks calls this segment intending, meaning when you wake up, you kind of picture what kind of day that you want and how exactly you want it to go. You want a nice breakfast, you want to have a great time with your kids, you want to laugh at work, you want to receive plenty of good ideas, you want decent traffic, you want to enjoy your meals. Do you ever just ponder this stuff? Focus on what you want, expect it to happen. This my friends is a very active form of rebellion in a culture that is so focused on things going wrong that gives all the attention to negative information. What's going right in your life? What are the highlights? In fact, it's proven that at the end of each day, you spend a moment just calculating the three highlights of your day, maybe you had a really great conversation with somebody, maybe you discovered a great new show, maybe you cooked a great meal, maybe the sun were shining. When you reflect just on three things,

2:12three highlights of that day, the next day your brain is going to be wired to look for more wonderful things. And think about that over time, that compounds. I'm more interested in being a rebel without a cause in any way, but expecting things to go well, having living with a positive expectation is a bit like a quiet act of defiance in this world. People think what she doing, why is he so happy? Why are they so unperturbed by things? Why are they so unruffled by things going wrong? My friends, this is the power that you possess within you, and if focus is up to you and attention is up to you, why don't you simply give it to what's going right and expect more and more of that? Why not just try it and see what happens? In total tomorrow, my friends, so much love and ease. Hey friend, I've got something really cool for you. I want to give you
