The 26-year-old Memphis rapper served over four years after pleading guilty in 2022 to gun and drug trafficking charges tied to a shooting two years earlier. Now settled in Texas on home confinement, he's gearing up for a new album with a CEO mindset focusing on discipline and creativity. His day start early around 5.30 a.m. with workouts, riding lyrics and recording sessions. He cherishes simple freedoms like quiet mornings in his own space, a stark contrast to prison life. To stay productive, he set up mobile studios and visits others when allowed, creating the common environment he craved behind bars. Prison transformed his music process. Before, he punched in lines without riding them down, as heard on hits like his platinum track with Lil Dirk. Inside, he filled notebooks with raps, stacking pages high, despite constant moves and losses. A major setback came when he lost most of his lyrics just before release because they exceeded property limits.
