On March 31st, Cody Ponds made his long-awaited return to Major League Baseball with the Toronto

Blue Jays on Monday night at Roger Center, but it ended in Harbrick.

In his debut since 2021, the right-hander fielded a grounder in the third inning against

the Colorado Rockies and suddenly collapsed, grabbing the back of his right leg and pain

before being carted off the field.

Medical staff and manager John Schneider rushed out right away, helping him onto the

cart as he went through the dirt.
