Police Call Handlers Charged for Misconduct

Jessica Fitzhugh, an Ellie Maydority, worked in the forces control room, accused of sneaking into computer systems without permission and handing, sensitive info to criminal buddies. They also allegedly hid their ties to people mixed up in crime from their bosses. This all came to light after Derbyshire police tipped off the independent office for police conduct back in December 2023 in March, 2024. The women showed up at Leicester Magistrate's court earlier this week, dress sharp but keeping it short. Just confirming names, addresses, and birth dates. No police entered and they both been suspended from duty, shaking up trust in the control room setup. Meanwhile, cops counter corruption team ran the probe under IOPC direction, wrapping it up with evidence sent to prosecutors. On March 23rd this year, the Crown Prosecution Service greenlit the charges.
