A last-second three-pointer from mid-court by Nathan George, rimmed out to end it. Barry Dunning Jr. added 17 points for Pitt and Andrew Siders had 16. Syracuse got 26 from George in a season high, plus 18 from Donnie Freeman and 14 from Nate Kings. The game tied at 65 in regulation after free throws and missed threes from both sides, sent it to extra time. With the victory, Pittsburgh grabs the last Atlantic Coast conference tournament spot at 12 wins and 19 losses. Syracuse drops to 15 and 16 on a five-game skid.
