Pirates' Season Ends in WBIT Loss

They fell to Missouri 67-57 on Thursday night in South Orange, New Jersey. Graduate student Mariana Valenzuela led the pirates with a double-double, scoring 17 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Sophomore Jacala Kraft, back after missing five games due to injury, added 15 points, six rebounds, and a career-high six deals. The game stayed close through three quarters, tied at 52 heading into the fourth. But Seton Hall's offense went cold, shooting just two for 22 from the floor and enduring a scoreless stretch of seven minutes and 12 seconds. That drop led Missouri pull away to an 11-point lead, late. Fans and players can take pride in the solid campaign that finished 19 wins and 13 losses, including a third-place tie in the Big East.
