Pittsburgh Pirates to shook up their bullpen again, designating right handed reliever Ryan Harbin for assignment to clear a spot on the 40-man. Roaster. They selected the contract of Chris Devinsky, who signed a minor league deal earlier and called him up to the 26-man squad too. Harbin now goes on waivers as they make room. Here this week, the Pirates added Harbin to the roster back on November 6th to protect him from the Rule 5 draft after a strong year in the minors at high, a Greensboro and AA Altoona. But he hit a setback with an arm injury to his terrace major and lat muscles during spring training, landing him on the 60-day injured list March 18th. Cam Sanders came up April 25th when Braxton Ashcraft went on the bereavement list, then Ashcraft returned April 28th against the Cardinals. They optioned Wilbur Dotaille that day for Hunter Barco, who pitched well but got sent down quick for Devinsky. Now they've got six right handers including Devinsky, Justin Lawrence, Isaac Mattsin, Johan Ramirez, Dennis Santana, plus lefties, Mason Montgomery, and Evan Sisk holding down the pen. Pirates keep tweaking to find that late inning lock.
