Earlier this month, several hero diners bit the desks for good, like the ones in Hoover on April 12th Montgomery and Nashville. Others, including locations in Birmingham, Trustville and out-of-state spots in Atlanta and Fayetteville are listed as temporary shutdowns. Rodney Scott's also saw its Trustville and Valley Post places closed temporarily around the same time. Folks in the Birmingham area are feeling the pinch, losing these go-to spots per quit bites and barbecue. Home with locals especially, with both hero and Rodney Scott's right there, now have fewer options for that casual dine-out vibe.

That includes Rodney Scott's in Charleston, Atlanta and Nashville. Plus little donkey spots in Homewood and Montgomery and others like Luca Legato.
