Pickens' Cowboys Future Uncertain

After his all pro-year with 1429 yards and nine touchdowns, the team feels they've done enough to keep their offense humming, even without a long-term extension yet. Former Cowboys like Dematre Moore and Barry Church are telling Pickens to play it like Micah Parsons did, show up for workouts to prove you're all in. The whole firm on that big bag, Moore straight-up set on his podcast Heat Pull of Parsons move, especially since they share the same agent. Parsons was a Cowboys cornerstone, drafted 12th overall in 2021, racking up 52.5 sacks in 63 games with all pro-nods. But after a three-month standoff and limited off-season work, he got traded to the Green Bay Packers and signed a four-year 188. Million dollar deal, the richest for any non-quarterback ever. Now Jerry Jones confirms extension talks with Pickens have had a total roadblock, despite the owner's talk of long-term love for the guy.
