It's March 27. Welcome in. This is Entertainment and Celebrity News, where pop culture meets AI. I'm Cory with the story. A Los Angeles court has ordered Aaron Fypers, the 53-year-old estranged husband of actress Denise Richards to pay Whittower Rupert Perry 1, $160,483.97. The default judgment covers a business dispute at Fypers now closed wellness center. The issue started when Perry's late wife paid $126,000 for stem cell treatments Fypers promoted as highly effective against her cancer. She underwent the procedures from July to September 2023, but scans showed her tumors grew and her refund requests went unanswered, before she passed away in May 2024. Perry sued for fraud and breach of contract last year, running ads in a local paper to notify Fypers after he failed to respond. A source close to Fypers claims he was only a middleman and not directly responsible
for the money. Meanwhile, this ruling lands during Fypers' messy divorce from Richards, filed in July 2025 over irreconcilable differences. The couple faced eviction from their Calabas's home late last year for owing over $84,000 in RIN, though Fypers recently won, $5,000 a month in temporary spousal support. With finances under strain from the split and this payout, Fypers legal battles show no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
