Petraeus: Iran's Miscalculation Escalates Regional Conflict

Petraeus, who led the CIA from September 2011 to November 2012 and commanded forces in Iraq, sees it pulling everyone, deeper into the fight. President Trump has ramped up air strikes alongside Israel, aiming for regime change in Iran, though he warns the campaign is far from over. Petraeus argues air power alone cannot topple the government. To degrade Iran's leadership and forces enough for real change, ground troops would be essential.
