0:00I'm Cory, and this is your Pulse of the City, Sidney News Today. A 22-year-old man from Perth has been charged with the murder of an Adelaide driver who died after crashing into a power pole in Morphid Vale. This week, paramedics tried to save the man, but he passed away at the scene as the so occupant of the car. Detectives quickly ruled out the crash as the cause of death, pointing instead to injuries from an assault that happened right before. Police believe the suspect drove a red 2003 BMW to sapphire reserve for a planned meeting in the early hours of Wednesday morning. They are still piecing together what led to the violence. Today, major crime investigators arrested the man from Brabham, Northeast of Perth. They share the news with the victim's family, who have been waiting for answers. He is said to appear in Perth magistrates court this afternoon, where prosecutors will seek his extradition to South Australia. Meanwhile, police are urging anyone with CCTV or dash cam footage from Sapphire Road between 12.30 a.m. and 130 a.m. on Wednesday to come.
