The 37-year-old is joining his former team for a second time as they push for the playoffs. Perrin is in the last year of a two-year $8 million contract. He signed with Ottawa on July 1st, 2024, carrying a $4 million average annual value. This season, he has 25 points, including 10 goals and 15 assists over 49 games. Fans remember Perrin from his strong runs with Detroit, where he posted 56 points in 82 games during the 2022-20. 23 season and 47 points the following year, before heading to Ottawa.
