Peaky Blinders History Talk: Separating Fact from Fiction

0:00On March 3rd, a local history group in the Black Country is hosting a talk on the real-life Peaky Blinders next week. Karen Brzeer from the West Midlands Police Museum will share insights on these notorious street gangs during her presentation at the Sejuli Local History Society. The event comes right after the release of the new Peaky Blinders film, The Immortal Man, making it a perfect time to separate facts from fiction. Karen has spent the past nine years digging into the history of these gangs, who caused chaos in inner city Birmingham during the late 18, hundreds, and early 1900s. The top takes place at St. Andrew's Church on Bilston Street in Sejuli, starting at 7.30 pm on March 12th. And Mission Cost is 2 pounds, and folks are welcome to dress in Peaky Blinders style for some added fun.
