Is that a fair criticism? You know, I'm angry, I'm angry, what happened here? I know it's my body. I know it's Peter Lanzo and it don't make sense. That's what I'm angry about.

1:00So you're saying yes, you would Peter Lanzo for no reason and didn't replace them. So you're saying that you would rather be hold on Paul. You would rather be right about Peter Lanzo going on a tear with the Orioles. The Met's not making the playoffs and the Met's actually having successes here. I don't care what the Orioles do. I don't care what Peter Lanzo does with the Orioles. Okay. All right. I needed him on first space. I needed his 40 and 100 of the eyes. To me, letting him go doesn't make sense. Now if the match has a better offense than they did last year and have a better season, better postseason performance, will you admit that you were wrong about moving on from Peter Lanzo? Yes. Okay. 6:11for his family and that is great for Pete and he finally got the contract that he was hoping to get and I couldn't be happier for him. I hope he does well down on Baltimore. But man, I root for the laundry. You know what I'm saying? I was just like you were saying about St. John's and College Basketball and the guys here for you know a year and then go somewhere else whatever. I am rooting for the meds and I do believe that David Sterns basically overturned this roster and trying to make the team come closer together. I do believe that there was an issue in that locker room. I don't know what the issues were. You never know. But David Sterns, the manager, you know they fired half the coaching staff. I mean let's face it, there were there have been a million changes on this roster. Yeah, there's no doubt that it takes ruthlessness to turn things around. That's your favorite word when it comes to general managers and this was one of those moves in the eyes of the fans where Peter Lonzo was not going to get it off her. We were not going to

7:11bring him back and it exposes David Sterns and Steve Cohen to a certain degree into major major fan criticism because pizza guy who could put on an offensive show and the meds are a team that obviously we've seen them have brutal seasons even with good players and if that happens that's going to be brought up over and over and over again. The other problem though for Pete is that he could go five games without a home run and not come up in the clutch more than that. But he could not come in you know up in the clutch in three of those five games when all you need is to hit. Sure. I mean like so while the numbers they jump off the page and we all like Pete and we all loved him as the polar bear and he was our guy. I mean it's time to move on and this is and you say David Sterns is exposed. I say David Sterns actually put a reasonably good team together. If you bring in market, send me in a boba shed. Come on. Those guys are professional. Yeah, but that's a two things can be true spot. I'd I agree. I think he puts it again. I like the off season. I really like the off season. I was someone who was totally fine with Peter Lonzo leaving and when I said

8:15at the first time before they didn't give him a contract met fans were all over my asset disagreeing with it. But I also think that because of the reaction from the fan base if it doesn't work out and Pete has some awesome season the meds have an awful season then Sterns is going to hear that. That's it's just that and he needed to expose. That's I gotta think of a better word needed to expose himself in that way. He needed to make himself vulnerable in that way because he had to change something and when you need you fully believe in that this needed a major major shakeup after what happened last year. Especially after you spend $760. You got to take on one so to me the spending of the money and the amount of money that's an easy deal for GM to do. You know there was no way that the Yankees were going to ever ever make a deal with one so to and they could they could to hit behind you know when I given a sweet to our players they could hit behind all that kind of crap. Yeah. The fact is they weren't going to pay anybody more than

9:19they're paying Aaron judge. That's just that's just all there is to it and they knew that the meds were going to go to the degree that they did in order to sign him. So that from a general manager standpoint that's that's an easy signing actually. Yeah. You got an owner that wants him. You got all this money and you're going to give him a sweet whatever and you're going to treat him like a rod was treated like Barry bonds was treated that's fine and that maybe was part of the problem in that locker. You never know how people respond to crap like that. Yeah. I mean it does sound like the Lendor Soto thing was a thing but we never really found out what the specific issues with Pete if there were any specific issues with people it could it could have been Nimo McNeill and Pete. Yeah. You know you got it you got to turn over the roster eventually and you got to move on especially if you feel like you're stuck and you know they're they have two rookies on the team coming up this year. No one McLean and Carson Benj and both are going to be asked to fill very big rooms. Yeah. I mean this is very similar to what happened with Brian Dable and Joe Shane in the

10:24first year that they took over the Giants. We've made this comparison before. There was unexpected success and then they ended up keeping guys and maybe they wouldn't have kept if they didn't have that unexpected success. They come back the next year everything blows up and then eventually things go down the toilet. But David started probably wanted to do all this stuff the off season before but the team ended up going to the end of the year. Yeah. Yeah out of the blue so he kind of quasi ran it back but he added one Soto to the team. Yes of course. Yeah absolutely and we all thought it was going to be a hell of a lot better than it was. Yeah well you know. Life could feel overwhelming but you don't have to go through it alone.
