Patriots Trade Diggs, Eye Eagles' Brown

After one season with a team that included a Super Bowl trip, Diggs leaves a gap at the position. Now Trey Tox are heating up for Philadelphia Eagle star AJ Brown as a possible replacement. Diggs topped the Patriots with 85 receptions and 1,013 receiving yards last year. The move clear 16.8 million dollars in cap space or up to 20.8 million dollars if designated after June 1st. Former quarterback Chase Daniel lit up a recent NFL live show praising Brown as the ideal target. He highlighted how Brown knows Coach Mike Frable and could boost young Drake May as he grows into the quarterback role. The catch is Philadelphia's steep asking price, modeled after the Dallas Cowboys deal for Quentin Williams. That included a first-round pick, a second-rounder and defensive tackle Mazzie Smith.
