The New England Patriots are overhauling their offense after dropping Super Bowl 60 to the Seattle Seahawks a month back. Coach Mike Vrable kicked things off by releasing why receivers to Fawn Diggs, the four-time pro-buller who came over from Houston for their title push. Diggs put up solid numbers last season with 85 catches for more than 1,000 yards from quarterback Drake May. Still, he only had four touchdowns, and the team sees this as a chance to reset ahead of the 2026 campaign. Fans in the AFC East have mixed feelings about losing a proven playmaker like the 32-year-old Diggs. He's topped 1,000 yards in seven of his last eight years, but all field noise from an assault charge he pleaded not guilty is hanging over him. The Patriots have poor draft picks into receivers without landing a breakout star. That's why they leaned on vets like Diggs and Mack Hollins, but now they're moving on to build differently.
