Patriots GM can't keep it straight when asked about A.J. Brown.

But he first said AJ Brown is a member of the Philadelphia Eagles. Because he is. That's that's a. Which is also what. And how he also said that we haven't had a conversation in a long time. Did you hear anyone yesterday say Matt Safitt was on the ramps? As anyone this week said that Caleb Williams on the Bears, why are we saying the obvious? Because there's been a lot of trouble. This story has has created a life of his own. And what I hear like shout out to all the reporters and the people that have way better connections than I do when it comes to this story. But all I hear and this is I'm being totally honest and this is why I feel the way that I feel. I feel a whole lot of in you window. I hear that and also hear a story that they just keep it just keep they just keep giving it life when it doesn't have any life because they have nothing else to talk about.

5:05That's how I hear. Well, so you can be totally out like no disrespect to anybody that's talking about this. But when I hear Joe to be totally honest, I just hear people trying to keep the story alive. Well, but I also hear GM's that could change the story. Like I just give an example. How he Roseman could have walked, flown to the owners meetings in Arizona. He was in front of all the media on Sunday and said AJ Brown is a member of the Eagles. And we can't wait to see him at training camp. He off season program starts in a few weeks. He will be in training camp. He will be on the field for the Eagles in week one. He can say that and he time he wants. I tell you the one thing and how we would never do is paint himself into a corner. Nah, he could just get out of it. He can't he won't paint himself into the corner. He said players were like fingers on his hands and he traded cars in weeks later. I understand. I understand you coming from and you make a valid point. But with this situation, I don't feel it as it's to the level that everybody else does. I just don't. Every time I hear any one of those pundits talk about it, any one of the four horse of anybody, I hear they're always leaving themself and out.

6:08Sure. But how we could change it, like I just said in the beginning, if he wanted to end it, he ends it. He doesn't want to end it because I believe they've already made a trade. I think this thing is done. You know what I think? I think that there is, okay, there has been AJ Brown trade talks. I will admit to that. Oh, finally. No, I admit to that. And I've never said that. It wasn't. The price that the Eagles are wanting for him is not being met. Maybe. Or being met. Or they've already agreed to a deal. It's been met. It's not being met. I don't believe that. I wake up every morning and there's a story about AJ As a matter of fact didn't Hushman's out to say something about the story and I think AJ tweeted a man cool out of song. Yeah, yeah So so that what leaves me to believe That this is much to do about nothing because this is a hot story And and the one thing and and and not and again Not taking any credit away from anybody that has talked about these stories and and and and have vetted the people that they've talked to anything like that But we know the NFL moves the meter and there if there's something to talk about

Well, it's been the biggest story of the league He's the new hotness with with all of his you know Antics from the win after the Super Bowl and you know reading the book on the sideline He's he's the it girl right now So that's why the story is still having lays because to me I this the way and this is the way I interpreted the story dies down for a couple days And then there's another story that comes out that that ramps it back up again And then it becomes a thing again. So that's kind of where I think it is And I haven't heard anything definitive yet, but I get where everybody's coming from and I get the way that people feel I just don't feel that way. All right.
