Pathologist: Noah Donohoe's Death Consistent with Drowning

0:00On March 10th, a pathologist at the Inquest into schoolboy Noah Donahoe's death has concluded it was consistent with drowning, with no signs anyone else was involved. Dr. Marjorie Turner performed the post-mortem and found Noah's body covered in silt and mud from the storm drain where it was recovered. She pointed to bruises and scrapes on his forehead, hands, knees and elbows, likely caused by stumbles or falls inside the pitch black tunnel. The coroner noted this evidence would be extremely tough for Noah's mother, Fiona, to hear. Experts described how the dark, confusing space could have left the boy disoriented, unsure how to escape. Two other pathologists back the findings, agreeing on no third party role, while tests confirmed no drugs in Noah's system. They estimated he died within hours of his last sighting. His body immersed for days before discovery, six days later. Another doctor who examined the scene describes skin changes and swelling consistent with time and water, but Noah's salt injuries.
