Paralympic Gold Medalist - Mallory Weggemann

Real Pod

About this episode

Mallory Weggemann is a Paralympic gold medalist and record setter! Her story is one of great inspiration and resilience; at the age of 18, Mallory was experiencing back pain and went in for a series of epidural shots. The third shot left her completely paralyzed from the waist down. Despite this life changing moment, she continued to pursue her passion of swimming and made it all the way to the 2012 and 2016 Paralympic games where she became a two-time Paralympic medalist.
