Carter Verhage delivered two huge goals in the final one minute 30 seconds of the third period, turning a deficit into a win. Florida pulled Goli-Deniel Tarasov for an extra attacker, and Verhage tied it at 3-3 with a wrist shot at 18-30. He then sealed it 15 seconds later, roofing a shot from the left circle off a Matthew Tecachuck pass. Vinny Hino-Stroza, shown in his first game back with the Panthers after a trade from Minnesota, notching a goal and an assist. Tecachuck added two helpers, while Tarasov made 25 saves in the win.
