The Carolina Panthers have signed free agent linebacker, Devin Lloyd, to a three-year deal worth $45 million with $25 million. Fully guaranteed. Reports from ESPN's Adam Schaefter broke the news on the night of March 9th. Lloyd spent his first four NFL seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars playing in 63 games. He earned his first Pro Bowl nod last season and posted career highs with five interceptions, including one return 99 yards for A. Touchdown. Fans of the Cincinnati Bengals were hoping their team would land Lloyd this off season, but it didn't happen. The Bengals instead selected defensive back Dax Hill in the draft, just four picks after the Jaguars took Lloyd. Lloyd wrapped up the season with 1.5 sacks and 10 quarterback hits, making him one of the top linebackers available in free agency.
