Panthers Mock Draft: Local Star Concepcion

He projects the Carolina Panthers, selecting Texas A&M wide receiver Kevin K.C. Concepcion with the 19th overall pick. This would mark the third year in a row. The team grabbed the first round wide-out to boost their passing game. Epcion grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina after moving there as a young kid from Rochester, New York. He started Julius L. Chambers High School, locally before playing his early college years at North Carolina State, then transferring to Texas A&M. Panthers fans might love the local tie, especially since the team has invested heavily here already. They took Xavier Legetta, 32nd overall last year, and Teterot McMillan, 8th overall this past draft. Together with Jalen Coker, Concepcion could form a dynamic trio for quarterback Bryce Young.

1:01In his final college season at Texas A&M in 2025, Concepcion hauled in 61 catches for 919 yards and 9 touchdowns. He also shown on special teams, leading the SEC with 25 punt returns averaging 18.2 yards each. This mock draft highlights how the Panthers keep building speed and separation at receiver.
