Packers' Wicks, Reed in Trade Rumors; Depth Concerns

NFL insider Matt Fowler has Packer's wide receiver, Dante Vian Wix, on his list of potential trade candidates this off season. He puts Wix alongside names like AJ Green, Rashad Bateman, and Quentin Johnston. On teammate Jaden Reed though, Fowler sees no chance of Green Bay moving him right now. Both players came from the 2023 draft class, with Wix going in the 5th round and Reed in the 2nd. They're both heading in the contract years in 2026, putting pressure on their roster spots. The Packer's added depth last year by taking Matthew Golden first overall, and Savion Williams in the 2nd round. That move creates a log jam, and is looking unlikely both Wix and Reed stick around past 2027. Trading Wix would hand the starting outside job to Golden, but leave the team short on depth at a critical spot. Reed shines in the slot and holds way more value overall.

1:00Meanwhile, Romeo Dubs hits free agency this week and is expected to leave, while Christian Watson pushes for a new deal.
