The swap won't finalize until next Wednesday when the new league year begins. Franklin brings a strong track record with at least 100 tackles in each of his last four seasons. He's set to fill the void left by free agent Quay Walker, bolstering Green Bay's linebacker group. Fans and analysts see this as a smart defensive upgrade, but it adds financial pressure.
