Packers Finalize Coaching Staff for 2026 Season

0:00With the NFL today, March 19th, the Green Bay Packers just finalized their coaching staff for the 2026 season under head coach Matt LaFloor. They brought in eight new faces, including defensive coordinator Jonathan Ganon and handed out six promotions from within. DeMarcus Covington got bumped up to assistant head coach on defense and now handles outside linebackers, which points to the team shifting to a base. Three, four, front, with those players as the main edge rushers. Luke Gizzi steps in as quarterbacks coach and assistant head coach on offense too. The offensive line coach, Luke Butkis, stays put and his group has to get healthy and bounce back strong next year. They also hired respected college coach Noah Pauley to lead the wide receivers after the last guy left for Philadelphia. Meanwhile, the secondary got a veteran overhaul with Bobby Bavitch as pass game coordinator and Daniel Bullocks taking over corners, both entering their 10th and 11th years in the league. Vince Okobai Ace moves up to defensive line coach.
