Packers Extend LaFleur, Love Thrilled

Plenty called for head coach Matt LaFlor to hit the road, instead the team locked him in with a multi-year extension. Jordan Love could not be happier about it. The quarterback says, keeping the same system in terminology lets him and the team hit the ground running in off-season training, building right off. The last couple years, not every cheesehead is on board though. The lay collapse and back-to-back wildcard exits fueled the fire for change, leaving a sour taste despite reaching the playoffs. Love joined Green Bay in the first round of the 2020 draft and spent his first three years behind Aaron Rogers. Since taking over, he's improved each season and guided the Packers to the postseason every year, something neither Rogers nor Brett Farve pulled off, in their early starts. Heading into their seventh season together in 2026, only Andy Reed and Patrick Mahomes have lasted longer as a coach quarterback pair.
