The devil controls negative thoughts. God controls positive thoughts. Napoleon Hill was the first I heard to expand upon this idea: the devil controls over 95% of people on earth. The devil prefers people to drift and not think like themselves, while those who wish to follow God must be free-thinkers. In my forthcoming manual, Biblical Bachelor, we discuss how people must think for themselves and develop their own personal philosophy. Do not let the devil do your thinking for you, or anyone else for that matter. Use your mind, or like any other muscle, it will melt away.
