Outfielder Robs THREE HRs & Flyers Time's Yours

0:00So this is day tripper, right? Is that the right song? Yes, that's it. So we can say to this point in his career, Zach Wheeler has been a day tripper. But now it'll be a second day tripper. I mean, you know, start to look and forward to seeing. I know I said, Zach Wheeler, I mean, Andrew painter. And you're confused there. I'm trying to figure out my fault. My fault meant to say Andrew painter makes the second start today. Um, I like going on here. Let me get to so as great as the flyers thing was an obviously the headline of for us this weekend was the flyers and, you know, the goal we played a million times today, maybe the most incredible thing that happened in all the sports this weekend was the angels outfielder, Joe Adele making not one, not two, but three different at the wall, home run, saving catches in the same game. It was just look, we don't know what happened in 1905 and whether it ever happened before, but we do know and recorded baseball history that they've been tracking this kind of stuff.

1:00It had never happened. And it's just hard to imagine it has. I mean, three times the guy in the same game saves a home run. Let's listen to them in sequence. The first one early in the game. No balls at once. Like airs a drive out to right from Raleigh. Adele is back near the world. Leap. How do you count it? Joe Adele robs Raleigh. I want one of Ben's first home run this year. Now, Juddy, one thing that has always stood out to me as someone who grew up with the Phillies in the vet. This wasn't possible to vet with the exception of Otis Nixon, who's the only guy ever basically saw do it. He got like almost all the way out there when he grabbed that one home or a year. I saw, sorry, that was it. That was in Fulton County. That was in Fulton County. You're talking when he climbed the wall, but yeah, but it was like the same kind of vet. Point is this. No one did it at the vet. You couldn't get that high, right? But some of these smaller ball parks, including like citizens back where it's a little lower, you can, but we don't have many in Phillies history just because it wasn't possible for so that's part of what made Miltz in 93 so great. It was so rare.

2:01Anyway, other ball parks, you have a, you have a shot at it. This guy with Dell does one early in the game. Then he does another one, a couple of minutes later. I don't know what the hell is. He's got the way. Tony leaps up. He got another one. Joe Dell, one of night. That's a James says two piece of audio for them. They fired both at the same time. So I had to get the other one not playing. Fight on light as it happens the second time. Then with his team holding a one nothing lead in the ninth inning with one out. And this one's the greatest of all because he actually tumbles over the outfield wall. But it counts as a catch. It happens again. There's coffee with a fly motor light toward the corner. It's Joe Dell again near the football. Did he catch it again? He fell into the crowd. So it's a home run. They called him out. He did it again. After reviewing the call on the field, it's confirmed there's a catch. Joe Dell will his third home run robbery tonight.

3:04I've never seen anything like it. I'm guessing no one has. I just find it hard to believe that that has ever occurred in the history of baseball. I mean, three in the same game is beyond ridiculous. And not on my bingo card for today was Joe DeCamber would reference the scariest looking baseball player I ever saw. The only thing about this, the scariest looking because the first thing I thought it was Tyrone Hill, but he was a basketball player. This guy was scary and looking in Tyrone Hill. You just mentioned his name within the last three minutes. Former brave center field. Oh, it's nice. And yeah, remember when he did that, the kick that the pitcher, that was wild. Gary looking dude. You don't want to see out the snakes and walking down the same side of the road as you. I am absolutely crushed on the street at that time. He was one scary looking dude. You know, sometimes you wonder, Jody, how some of these guys get, get, get wives, you know, but then I look at you and say, you know what exactly? You got an example sitting right here.

4:04Number one, and number two, coin helps. If you're a professional athlete, you're making good coin. You got a chance to get somebody to say yes. Ashton, just wait, another show or two. And she's wearing it today better than either Joe or I could. What kind of hat is that? I don't even know which one I'm wearing. I think it's my golf hats at a tray. If I don't have to be on camera, I'm wearing a hat because I can't. But you're on camera. Now I am, yes. I also were, I was going with the hood look earlier, but it was a little bit too high. I turned the heat off, so I got a little hotter and the guy, I don't know. Getting uncomfy.

5:04Yeah, it's a little too, a little too hot. Let's go, fonts. Uh, Gary and Vineland, Gary, what's up, pal? Good morning. I am suffering from joell and bee fatigue. I just, this is the same thing when Max, he called him out and he said, what am I late for? Probably, yeah, probably, and he was more focused on who ratted him out, rather than being on time for stuff. Like it's just such a shame, all that talent, all the time we wasted on the process. And this is what we got. You're not wrong. I mean, that's part of it. You know, there, there has been bad luck and all that. But yes, I do think lack of, you know, nth degree attention to detail. I don't even know if he's halfway degree attention to detail. So it's, it's a shame. Okay. It is. It's just, it's frustrating. Yes, it is. Ant-Man's my guy. Except I think he missed the game this week and that helped me in fantasy basketball, because he was on the other team. I'm sure. It's all about me winning fantasy basketball. That's my focus for the, that and I go to my college this week to, to talk to the kids. That's my, you know, that's, that's how you back up in Connecticut, back up there this weekend. Yeah, talking to the, talking to the kids. The what? You bringing the cup? It's an interesting question. You have to. Should I bring the cup to Fairfield? Uh, maybe, maybe, let me think about that. Big shot that starts, uh, you know, with a little f-bond drop it and, uh, enjoy the play in, uh, around the six or fans.

And I did a lot of to buy his Harris defending over the year, because people really beat the snot out of him. Because of the money he was making. He asked, they said, okay, they let Butler go out the door. They kind of painted themselves into a corner and they had to overpay the bias. And he didn't live up to the overpayment. But listening to people just, uh, put them in, you made him sound like he doesn't deserve to be in the NBA. He's a good solid player. He's still a good solid player for the pistons. He's just not a superstar, max money type guy. And they, I thought we're unfair to him. Any grief they want to give him off what he did the other day. I'm perfectly fine. Yeah. The premise was a team that hasn't made the playoffs in a while. I assume they made it in a 0-9. I know for damn sure they made it in a 0-8 because they got to the Eastern Conference finals in a 0-8. So people forget that one. They got waxed by Crosby and Malk in a 0-8. But like in 2010, they had just been in the playoffs. The premise was which teams that haven't been in the playoffs for a while make it and it's a breakthrough. That was the premise. And with that, time's yours. We shut it down. Well, Roman Anthony hit the ball on the ground. Two 50% of 50% of the time. He also has a lot of power, though. Joe, let me tell you the most important thing. In my opinion, for Crawford as a hitter, single most important thing to develop is not hitting. It's walking. He's not, he's not going to have power. Like, there's two ways for a 300 hitter that has a low on base percentage, let's say to, to improve. One is you have power and the other is you walk. Because he's not going to have power, to me, the next step for Crawford is to walk more. Because if he can take that 315 batting average, which, maybe I'll have for the whole year, I don't know, and turn it into a 365 on base percentage,

13:24to me, that's the next step for him. But I, I hear you're concerned on the swing. I don't agree with them. We'll say, Joe, give me an answer. Well, go ahead. I'm going to change it. And he's a big Jody Mac fan. And he said, so he saved it and played it 150 times there after. Look at that. Look at that. I've been a hurly fan since he came on my show and sucked up to myself. I'm on the Husky bandwagon big time tonight.

14:28I'm rooting for them as well. Go big east. That's always my thing. But I like Michigan. Michigan is, yeah, it's one of John's, uh, you know, colleges that he transferred out of. All right. Uh, we got to come up with a winning answer. Who were what took a while to get going? So we've had a couple answers to me that don't apply. Um, but, you know, Colonel Sanders is certainly a big one for me that KFC. He was career took two years to get going. But I don't know that he's even totally, totally gone going. Kurt Warner is, I think, a spectacular answer. Uh, the little train that could, I think, is a very creative answer. Mickey Moniac's not good enough to be considered going. Falls pretty good, but he also had success before he had failure. Then he had more success. What are we doing here? I like that.
