Oregon Duck Bryce Boettcher NFL Journey

0:00On April 25, linebacker Bryce Boetcher from Oregon just got selected by the Indianapolis Colts at Pick 135 in the 20, 26 NFL draft. This Oregon Dup turned heads as a dual sport standout, picking football after shining in both. He was also drafted in the 13th round of the 2024 MLB draft by the Houston Astros, but Boetcher chose the Gridiron. He called the NFL process way more intense with all those deep interviews compared to baseball. Boetcher started at Oregon as a baseball outfielder, playing 81 games before walking onto football in 2022 under Coach Dan. Landing. His passion kicked in hard. He said nothing beats the hit and team bonds in football. Over his final two seasons, he racked up 230 tackles, 3 sacks, 9 passes defended, and 2 picks. Growing up in Oregon with family ducts tickets, Boetcher watched a forest buckner dominate on Saturdays. Now, he gets to line up with him on Sundays for the Colts.
