On March 29th, Leonid Radvinsky, the guy behind OnlyFans, passed away last week at age

43 from cancer.

His wife, Yakaterina Chennopsky, now holds the controlling interest through a family

trust.

The London-based platform poured in $7.2 billion last year, which is 42 employees, mostly

from adult content subscriptions.

Earlier this week, reports highlighted how Radvinsky bought the site in 2018 for a low-key

sum and turned it into a cash machine.

Especially during the pandemic lockdowns.

The company has tried branching into safe-for-work stuff like fitness videos on a spin-off called

OFTV, but porn still drives the bulk of the profits.

Critics Slam Radvinsky is controversial, with some calling out the site's role in

spiking porn use, about 29% of UK adults hit those.

Sites in 2023 and 70% of young people have seen it online.

Creators, including creators, praise the platform for steady income and tough infrastructure

that justifies its cut.

Meanwhile, the firm attempted sales before his death, including a 60% stake to a San Francisco

fund, called Architect Capital, but that fell through.

Now they're an exclusive talks with the same investors, who back edgy businesses like

Jewelvapes.

As Chennopsky steps up from beach walks and family time to steering this billion dollar
