Only wives submitting?? Better study the word patterns in Eph 5-6!

Only wives submitting?? Not according to the word patterns in Ephesians 5-6! The words "wives submitting to your husbands" are in Ephesians 5:22. Is this verse teaching vertical submission? No. The full passage teaches this: Christian husbands and wives be mutually submitting yourselves to the teaching and correction you are receiving from one another in the Spirit. All that? Yes. It is in the words and word patterns of the passage of Ephesians 5:15-6:9.

The passage uses a Jump, Jump High Jump pattern. Paul uses it to illustrate his main point of 5:32. Along the way he points to the Christian couple to illustrate how Spirit-filled Christians build up and correct one another in the body of Christ. He is not putting wives under, or husbands over, in any way.
