Welcome to another edition of Global Land Report to America Around Loud. Today I'm going to go theological. It's not my usual topic of topic to go on about but I think we are in a very spiritually dark time right now in America. We're seeing a lot of division in our society. We've seen a lot of weakness from the churches. We're seeing internationally in the world seen. It's a very very heavy thing right now. Who knows when world war three could start? Who knows what could happen. So what do we do about this? Now I happen to think this is
spiritual warfare. This really is a battle between good and evil here and I think a lot of my friends who would have classified themselves as atheists or agnostics you know four or five years ago are now definitely looking at world events looking at themselves looking at local events through a spiritual prism you know some it's Christian some it's Jewish but I'm seeing this this belief in God that is openly this coming forward that I wouldn't have seen from many of my friends up until recently I was speaking to a very close friend in New Zealand the other day and he was a hardcore agnostic. He's a very senior guy he was involved in the government over there very accomplished man and he tells me he and his family have now just converted to Christianity and this is something that I would have I would have fallen over I would have knocked me he could have knocked me down with a feather if you told me this a
while ago and what spurred me to do this show today and and my views on the news spirituality the my news my views on the inadequacy of much Christianity as it's been taught today not not the inadequacy of Christianity but the the weakening the the the downgrading of Christianity that is that is I think God has entered the position we are at today nor I was spurred to think about this through the American Freedom Alliance Founder Karen Seagerman and she would often say often say well you know we're gonna need God's help to get us out of the mess we're and we are really gonna need some miracles just like the founding fathers did they needed miracles but you got to be miracle worthy that's a key point you know look at the founding fathers they were miracle worthy there
many many miracles that happened during the Revolutionary War the famous fault that came down on New York Harbor just at the right time to save George Washington's troops you know there's various battles that that happens and it's very hard you know George Washington particularly he credited providence vine providence with winning that war he was very very clear that he believed that vine providence weren't won the war for the for the American forces and I I think he was right but they were miracle worthy a bunch of farmers lawyers and blacksmiths you know took on the world's greatest military empire and defeated them so that that is not a small feat that's not nothing you know so he acknowledged that the hand of God was on that revolution and and I
think it was I think it was George Washington who said no it might have been might have been Lincoln who said you know sir this was in the Civil War said you know are we fighting on God's side are we we fight as God on our side and and Lincoln said no no no he is we are on his and that's a key point you know God doesn't pick sides so much God lays down laws and principles and if we adhere to them I think we can be miracle worthy things happen that we wouldn't expect that that that make a big difference in our lives and maybe win the battle win the cause win the war and I think there's a lot of pointers to this look at the old testament you know the story of David and delight is very clear you know David standing there with you know facing this huge Philistine and all of his fellow soldiers or they're heading one way they're heading away and
David charges right at Goliath and all he's got is a bit of string in a rock that's it against this hulking brute and so David stands there and he throws this rock and smacks Goliath right in the head and drops him like a stone now I've no doubt God guided that rock but how much faith and how much courage did David need to throw it and there's a very important point you know I as I said God guided that rock but David had to stand here knowing and the only thing I believe that a name that gave him the strength to throw that rock was the faith that he was on God's side and that God would stand with him which he did and so I think that Pat has been repeated through history we see it again and Gideon's army the famous story of Gideon's army where you know we're
getting one to three hundred thousand men to face the enemy and of course God kept knocking them down knocking them down and the end the ends Gideon faces the horde with three hundred good men and prevails now what is the message there the message there that God doesn't need a majority God doesn't need the masses God needs a faithful and courageous few now I've been thinking a lot in recent times about faith and courage and what spurred me was reading in the book of Revelation says it's a little sector there listing the categories of people who go to hell at the end of time and obviously there's a liar so there's a dollar truce there's some murderers but the very first two groups of people go to hell are the cowards and the faithless now why why does God send cowards
to hell first surely cowards that's a weakness but it isn't a moral failing is it is it evil to be a coward well yeah it is because you know God's eyes if you're a coward you're telling God you have no faith in him you might profess faith you might go to church every week you may put money in the collection box you may call yourself a man of God you may lead others in that but when it comes down to it you're a coward you know if you really believe what you say believe if you believe you can live in eternity with a loving God you can believe you can live and for eternity at God's side and you have the ability to do that so what the heck would you be scared of here you know if you're a pastor and you've got a church and the local health department settles you shut down during COVID and you do it well you prove that you have
more faith in government than you haven't got that you you are willing to compromise your principles because it's easier you're a coward you won't take your stand and so I think the principle of Gideon's Army and David and Galife prove the point you know God says I want faithful and courageous people because the logical logical conclusion if God hates the cowards and the faithless more than anyone surely that tells you he loves the faithful and the courageous and I think David and Galife prove that I think there are many examples through the Bible and through history that prove that you know it's as I said the the founding fathers they had faith they were that was a religious war it was a war to preserve religious liberty we talked about tea taxes and that kind of thing and I'm sure that was a factor the taxes that were
levied by King George then would just make us laugh now you know how the owners are compared to the standards of today but what why why did they fight why were many of the revolutionary leaders pastors the so-called black robed regiments the Bible at one hand and the long rifle and the other Peter Mule and Bergen others who stood in front of their flock priests to sermon they pulled off their black robes and underneath there's a revolutionary revolutionary uniform that's who founded America that was a religious war they were people who acted in faith encouraged to preserve the religious liberties they had fled Europe to gain you know at the time you know if you're in Sweden you had to be a Lutheran if you're in France you pretty had to be a Catholic or in Spain and Britain you had to be church of England any dissenter could be heavily punished even executed there was a pretty hard
road for people to flee Europe come all the way to America and use their great loss of life to establish the new colony where they could practice their faith as they saw fit you know the original colonies were all founded really on religious religious backgrounds you know the Pennsylvania was obviously Pennsylvania was a Quaker settlement in Maryland was a Catholic settlement we know that you know 12 or 13 colonies were basically had different were run by different religious denominations all Christian of course but there was a deep spiritual foundation to the early American Republic and they were willing to be courageous you know like how is there a pastor will get up in front of you well this is this is my view how do you tell if your pastor is a
truly faithful pastor how do you tell that it's gonna lead you spiritually he's gonna get you where you want to go he's gonna test your faith he's gonna improve your faith he's going to be a good spiritual leader how do you tell it's very simple if your pastor is really the faithful pastor he says he is he will be courageous he will stand against the corruption in the community he will stand against the health department he will run help run candidates for office he will do all of these things and before you tell me well yes you know many pastors will tell you that to be involved in politics as a dirty game and Christians shouldn't really be involved I think that's just pure a pure crock straight out crock Christians shouldn't just be involved in politics it should be one of their highest priorities you know my bill Fedra the great historian often says you know if a Christian's greatest duty is to spread the
gospel surely the second most important duty must be to preserve the policy the freedom to fulfill the first does that make sense you know we are restored to restrained evil look look we're given three institutions to govern our lives by God we're given the church we're given civil government and we are given the family and if anybody who says civil government is not a godly institution has never read the Old Testament it is full of advice on government what happened to the Israelites when they didn't put a wall around their city it's a national security blueprint Jesus in the in the New Testament spoke more about governance than did about heaven it's always been God's law God's law is how we run things on earth and how we protect believers how we protect God's truth how we keep a free society look what what's the point of having free
well and I know that some Christians will even dispute that we have but I absolutely believe we have free well what's the point of having free well if you can't express it if you can't do what you need to do if you can't speak openly and honestly there is no point so God wants us to be free to choose him freely so that means we need a free society how do you preserve a free society Christians have to be involved in governance you know that will say oh you know it's a dirty game it's a dirty game well yes it is a dirty game if Christians and people faith are not involved of course it is but so vacuum for good people aren't there bad people will put but you know why why do we have this amazing nation the first nation on earth that says it man's rights come from God not from government and has a constitution to protect that a constitution directly
inspired from the Bible why would we have that if God does not want it preserved where where why would God want this country lost the country that's the more to spread the gospel that water keep people free that more to increase prosperity and governance and be and save more people for attorney than any other why would God want that lost why would God want Christians not being involved tell me I could think of no reason and you know as I said there are many examples in the Bible where governance is a big deal you know King David was a big deal not an ideal man but a big deal same as Solomon you know there's a lot of talk about governance why people Christians say oh no we shouldn't be involved in politics I'll rephrase a question do Christians have civic
responsibilities if a Christian will acknowledge that is to love God and not his neighbor as himself it's pretty important he will understand he or she will understand that that carries certain responsibilities how can you love your neighbor if you're living in North Korea how can you love your neighbor if there is no rule of law that perversion is rampant in schools and doctorating his children how can you love your neighbor if you're not willing to stand against evil to restrain evil can't so where does this foolish idea that Christians should be involved in politics see it's not they should should be involved it should be a top priority how do you get to live as many Christians do and the richest freest most benevolent country the world is ever known with the greatest levels of prosperity the greatest opportunities to spread your
faith whether you take them up or not both here and internationally how do you live in a blessed country like that and feel you have zero responsibility for maintaining it where in the Bible are you given rewards without responsibilities you know in Genesis you know Adam and Eve were supposed to have subdued the earth have dominion over the earth dominion what does dominion mean is rulership responsibility is supposed to have responsibility for the earth where did this pansy idea come from their Christians should just sit in their churches all day and do nothing do nothing while the world goes to hell around them and and there are a couple of reasons for this you know well and they make me laugh you know one is obviously the argument I just gave on our Christians should be involved it's too dirty Christians should be
pure and faithful you know every Christian will tell you yes I have responsibility to my family yes I have responsibility to my church yes I have responsibility to come to my community and does that not mean defending your community from evil doers should you not pick up a rifle when necessary isn't that part of a Christians responsibility to fight those just wars when your nation is threatened I would say absolutely you know the Bible's the 10th moment tells you they'll shout not kill no it doesn't this is they'll shout not murder that's murder is a legal killing it's perfectly within the realm of Christianity to kill enemies to defend your family that's not just a something you can do it's something you should do and give in certain circumstances you know sometimes loving your enemy is standing against them so they don't develop themselves even further and
sin than they already are you know loving your enemy is you know it's fine we should do it but sometimes that makes shooting your enemy an obligation especially if that's threatening your family or your country you know like when those boys you know your grandfather's and great-grandfathers were standing and landing barges off Omaha Beach waiting to charge Nazi machine guns on D day across open beaches you think those young boys were talking about baseball and girls you think they might have been a little bit of praying going on do you think instinctively they understood even the atheists even the boys had hardly ever been to church in their life they still were part of the American culture and American culture was very Christian then they understood that to give them the courage they needed to do what had to be done they would
have to just deepen their faith they would have to soul search they would have to summon every ounce of faith they could to give them the courage they needed to do the job they had to do there's another reason that in this really amuses me another reason why Christians say they shouldn't be involved in politics and this is mainly a Protestant this is a subset of Protestantism a lot of Protestants evangelicals believe in a rapture you know and it's going to be pre tribulation or post tribulation the big argument is not where there is a rapture the argument is when it happens what part of the cycle of the end times this this rapture happened well I'm not here to dispute any of that the world is going to end one day that's that's it given but Jesus didn't know when it was going to end or whether you'd return he didn't know but you
have all these pastors out there who've read the tea leaves and they add up how many years since Israel was founded and they do this and do that and they boldly protect we're going to have a rapture on Tuesday the 4th September whatever and this has happened many times and it's always come and gone with a lot of the solution Christians out there now I think when if anything like that does happen it'll be when nobody expects it nobody's going to know when this is going to happen this is this futile idea that you can predict something like that it's just a cop out it's cowardly because what you're basically saying is this because of my reading of God's plan I get to abandon all of my responsibilities from now until then you know I shouldn't be involved in politics because they're all going to get raptured on Tuesday I shouldn't be involved in restraining evil because
the end is imminent well as I've said nobody knows when that time is and maybe it's flexible maybe well as he's done many times in the past intervene or changes plans according to a number of righteous people standing up maybe because when he sees faith and when he sees courage he knows that faith is real he knows that it's real so who's going to help more real faithful people who prove it by showing courage or whims who's he who's he going to bless more who's he more likely going to intervene for I think it's pretty ton obvious and but you've got all these Christians out there who think they're going to get raptured they don't have to do anything they just sit in their churches and they pray lots because it's all in God's plan yeah I'm sure God's got a plan but how do we know some theologians will tell you this they believe God's plan is flexible
it depends on what we do we are a covenant at that's a partnership God does his bit and if we do our bit things work out well but if we don't do our bit God's always going to do his bit but what if we don't do our bit things can get pretty rough pretty quickly and that's where I believe we are now and it's not helping by millions of Christians abandoning their civic responsibilities because their pastor told them that it's going to be all over on Tuesday or five years or whatever it is put it this way I'll believe that argument is sincere I'll believe you are sincere that I'm not going to get involved in politics I'm not going to try and save America I'm not going to defend America I'm not going to try and get rid of the permits and the schools or you know fix votes and you know get work for voter integrity I'm not going to devote any time because they're all going to get raptured soon okay well I'll believe that I'll believe you are sincere in that belief
that you are throwing away your civic responsibilities because you are so confident in God's plan a confidence that Jesus didn't have I'll believe you are sincere in that the day you stop paying your mortgage you're going to stop paying your mortgage the Christians have responsibility to pay their mortgage well what if the mortgage payments during Thursday and you're going to get raptured on Tuesday should you pay your mortgage I would say yes we're told to occupy till he comes the very last second what about your very confident the reps is going to come what I mean is decide well on Tuesday this week I'm not going to mow my lawn why would I mow my lawn when I know it's all over well most Christians would laugh at that they'll say you're stupid you know you have responsibilities you got to pay your mortgage you got to pay your taxes you got to be carry out your civic responsibilities to the very last second occupy till he comes
to the last seconds when Wednesday you're going to stop changing your underwear when are you going to decide no more underwear for me I'm not going to change my underwear because it's happening this afternoon is there ridiculous but that's what millions of Christians are doing every single guy I'll call a bright here all right this is Colonel Mike from the national security our calling old Patriots to join me in national on July 2nd 3rd and 4th for America out loud news 250 10th anniversary in national go get them cowboys along with clear the wellness company we're celebrating two big milestones two hundred fifty years of America and ten years of America out loud dot news that's where you come to hear military and intel experts on the national security hour and where you get freedom of speech with liberty and justice for all not like anywhere else this is a once in a lifetime celebration we will have inspiring entertainment incredible fireworks nationally recognized speakers who proudly stand for freedom

welcome back to the cut welcome back to uh trigger out reports on the america out loud we're talking i'm going theological today well my take on theology my take on biblical truths my take on some of the misunderstandings i believe a lot of Christians have yeah my take and my key words i think faith encourage the more i read the more i study it's very clear will god wants us to have faith encourage and courage is proof of faith you can't fake courage you know god you think you know well i'm going to go to church i'm going to i don't really believe that much i'm pretty unsure but i'm going to go to church and put money in the collection basket and i'll say i believe in Jesus and i believe in he's the son of god and he's my savior i can say all that because it's in the insurance policy if it's not true well bad luck bit of it is true i'm good i'm i'm saved well you think
god it really is that stupid you know how does god know that you really are transformed how does god know you really do believe because you will be courageous you will fear nothing on earth you will stand against evil you will fight for your country you will defend your family you will try and work to get the permits out of the schools you will support missions you will do everything you can often at great personal cost or sacrifice every opportunity you get you will live out your faith and as i've said civic responsibilities are a key part of that you cannot enjoy the benefits of this great country if you do not choose to participate if you do not if you're a freeloader is god like freeloaders no god likes people who work people who do what they have to do who have responsibilities and carry them out fearlessly who want to stand before him on
that mighty day of judgment and say i was a good and faithful servant that's the kind of people god is looking for not your your Sunday Christian not your you know your insurance policy Christian look i saw isis isis wipe out christianity in northern Iraq a few years ago just horrible slaughter burning down churches massive abuse and those Christians had a real hard time basically destroyed their head and their burned alive you you know and wiped out christianity in a whole area i didn't hear any reports of those people being raptured lifted up to the clouds did you did i miss it surely Christians who are going to get raptured they deserved it more than anyone you know they they didn't buckle they stood up for what they believed in and they suffered tremendously and i didn't see any of them get raptured but american Christians are special
god loves american Christians especially evangelicals more than he loves Iraqi Christians that's obvious because you know he didn't spare the Iraqis he didn't he didn't save them he didn't draw them up to the clouds as far as we know but he's going to save the fattest lazyest most cowardly Christians on the face of the earth the american evangelical mainstream who does virtually nothing and i'm not that i know a lot of evangelicals who live their faith they're on fire absolutely wonderful my my friend Jard saw we died in two movies with them enemies with them the church and enemies with them he's over there on a regular basis in Nigeria setting up self-defense units at great personal risk for Nigerian Christians to protect them against the Muslim marauders who have committed horrible atrocities against their community there's one Christian you cannot
Jard saw levis his faith he has courage he goes to eras he needs bodyguards he's constantly getting death threats but his faith is so deep that he has the courage to do what he needs to do who would you rather be on judgment day folks would you rather be a man like Jard saw or would you rather be your local pansy pastor who never makes a stand never acts and courage just as a nice man just nice you know nice look if i had nice written on my tombstone i'll be so disappointed with my life i would be disgusted with myself having nice written on my tombstone it's um sometimes you got to be on fire sometimes you got to overturn the tables like Jesus did with Jesus overturned the tables of the money leaders he didn't negotiate a settlement he didn't sit down and run through the issues or hold a family group conference or
anything like that he was so disgusted he wanted to make a point it is overturned those tables of these so called holy men well holiness is living holiness is being whole it's integrating your principles with your actions that's holiness it is not a formula if i pray so many times and i do this and i do that and i put money in the collection basket and i donate to that and i go to church every Sunday i'm a holy person no you're looking for an insurance policy that's it am i wrong in this how many american Christians do you think i real Christians how many how many of them do you think would be willing willing to risk their lives for their beliefs i don't think it would be a high proportion but most of them think they're going to heaven you know a friend of judge told me that his aunt used to say how it's going to be full of
pastors being chased around with pitchforks by angry parishioners absolutely it is if your pastor is telling you see it is James 417 for he who knows the right thing to do but does not do it for him it is his sin see sin is not just murdering stealing fraud salts you know that lying that's that's not the only form of sin the Catholics understand this very well they say the sins of a mission are actually worse than the sins of commission James 417 for he who knows the right thing to do but does not do it for him it is a sin what's the wages of sin it's death so if you're a pastor and the local school is filling the kids heads with the most disgusting crap and you do nothing about it you should be doing something about it should you not you should be leading your community against that evil
protecting the children in your community if you're not doing that and you know you should be you're not sinning when you tell when america is in deep trouble when the russians and the chinese are getting ready to take us down where we have huge corruption in our government we have a could the communists are on the march when america is standing in the bridge when america is standing on the brink where america is on the verge of destruction and you tell your people no no don't get involved in politics just get ready for heaven well that's a pretty futile exercise mate because if you think you can you can throw off your christian civic responsibilities and council those under your leadership to also do so how the heck do you think you're hitting for heaven how do you think you are not sitting in very very deeply how do you think you're not being a coward
how do you think your faith is not fake because it is because if you really believe what you say you believe you will be standing against evil every single day whether it's in the school board whether it's in your local church whether it's in civil local government in business whatever you will be standing against evil accepting that as your duty as a christian and that not only should you maybe occasionally do this it should be a central part of your christian mission as Bill Federer said if the first duty of a christian is to spread the gospel the second duty is to preserve the liberty to do the first and I find most people who won't do the won't preserve the liberty aren't doing the spreading the gospel either it's a crock am I being a little too harsh here am I being unfair look here's here's another thing
you know so it's it's it's it's evil is a negative thing you don't have to lie or cheat or steal to be sitting you have to be faced with a moral decision and deliberately choose the cowardly option the faithless option you insult God you tell God I don't care about the laws you gave me I don't care about this the great society you gave us I don't care about my fellow man I don't love my you and my fellow man as myself I'm just in it for me on a very shallow basis and this is the way to heaven seriously as I said there's going to be a lot of people chasing their pastors around hell with pitchforks absolutely there is the way is narrow folks it isn't and insure it's policy you don't just profess faith in Jesus and change and do nothing to change your life if you become a Christian that should be a transformation a transformation of your the way
you run your life and everything you do if it isn't it's a fake transformation and you may fall yourself but do you seriously think you're gonna fall God God understands that if you really are transformed you will do things differently you'll be bolder more courageous you will stand am I wrong in this am I wrong in my reading of the Bible my understanding theology am I so far off that I'm just out of the mainstream here or is most of the American church out of the mainstream I believe the church is losing here and what's the proof of that you know you would have to go back 50 years to a time when the American church was regarded as the moral or arbiter of the nation where people look to the church for moral and spiritual leadership you'd have to go back to the fifties well you know and you could be an eye acknowledged you could have been the biggest
drunken wife wife veteran town a really horrible person but in those times at least you knew you were sitting at least you knew you weren't living up to the 10 commandments at least you had least you had a an idea that you were on the wrong path even if you kept on pursuing it well you know back in the 1950s that Lyndon Bates Johnson that that Marxist Senator from Texas introduced a and I say as a Marxist he fought against the communist and Vietnam war but never properly committed a lot of American men and personnel to a war that they wouldn't allow to lose he was involved in the works progress administration in the 30s a communist controlled organization Lyndon Bates Johnson and 55 led a change to the US tax code telling pastors they could no longer endorse candidates from the pulpit or lose their tax free status and every gutless past
to every pansy pastor in the country when hallelujah I don't have to address political issues anymore I don't have to dress the issues of the day I've got to get out of jail can't free I can say it's political I lose my tax free status I can shut up about this kind of stuff so then a few years after that of 63 I believe it was the left pushed the end of prayer in schools then in 1973 they pushed rho v way the legalization of abortion leading to millions and millions of pregnancy terminations murder effectively across this nation and what a pastors do with a few noble exceptions not much they were comfortable with this now do you think that the left could have taken prayer in schools if they had not neutralized the churches first if they're not bought the churches off do you think they could have passed rho v way if they had not bought the churches off first do you
think there might have been a plan here let's get the churches out of politics tell them they'll lose their tax free status that are involved and we can do whatever we're damn well-liked from that point on do you think that might have been the program you know it was Lyndon Bates Johnson who hired Michael Harrington the founder of Democratic Socialist of America a Marxist you know Democratic Socialist of America that's Rashida slave that's AOC that's so random it's a communist group hired the founder of that group back in the 60s to massively expand welfare in America the great society that called it that put millions of poor people on welfare and devastated the black community because although the black communities had lower illegitimacy rates and lower divorce rates and higher church attendance rates than the white community they were coming at a slavery they were still on the bottom of the social economic ladder and so millions of black woman and poor white
woman etc decided that it's better to have the government paying the bills than a than a dad paying the bills and look at the devastation we have seen as I said there are three institutions we are given by God to govern us the family the church and civil government and if the church is strong and is a moral leader the families tend to be sound they tend to be good and and the civil government will stay within its boundaries we'll keep within its boundaries but what happens if the church abandons leadership which ended in the 50s and continues to do so the families fall into chaos and civil government goes crazy has that happened am I wrong I think it has happened this is all spiritual whether the malaise in our society is because Christians have abandoned civic responsibilities and have become cowards and faithless and fake too many of them this always good ones out there but the church is pretty wimpy overall
as a pretty darn gutless I think most of you would have to acknowledge and that's why we're in the trouble where it's very very simple very easy to establish cause and effect now going back a bit this is a point I would like to make when this is a point I've been using my speeches I believe back in the 1930s there was only one force that could have stopped the rise of Nazism in Germany and that was the German church they had the numbers and the moral authority to say nine to Hitler but Hitler said no I will look after the state you look after men's souls and thousands of pastors said hallelujah and then they were all on government salaries by the way so it made it even easier they became Nazi Christians at what swastikers in their churches with a few noble exceptions and we know the accept we know those exceptions because they were exceptions but the German church became the Nazi church and that led to a horrible war that killed
tens of millions of people not just Jews gypsies all sorts of people were slaughtered in that and who had to fix a mess it was young british and American and Canadian and South African and Norwegian and French and New Zealand and Australia and many other countries who picked up guns and put on uniforms and charged Nazi machine guns at Normandy beaches or island across the Pacific fighting malaria and the Japanese at great cost for years at a time who did that mainly Christian boys mainly Christian boys who had to pick up guns and fight and die to fix the mess the cowardly German Christians had left us is it unfair to say that the blood of the holocaust and world war two can be put on the heads of German Christians is that unfair did they stand up
when they were called to do so did they ignore James 417 for he who knows the right thing to do but does not do it for him it is a sin were they cowards I think you would have to say yes and what did that lead to a horrible destruction that brave American and Canadian and French and British boys had to sacrifice to fix often at expense of their lives well here's we've all heard that story right I don't even know if it's true but it illustrates the point I'm trying to make here of a little German church in Nazi Germany during world war two and that they're all singing away one Sunday morning and there's a train pulls up on the railway siding next to the church and they hear banging from the box cars help us help us give us water help us help us there are children in here please help us obviously people going to the camps and one of those German
Christians do that they bring water did they try and intercede did they try and free the captives did they did they even pray for the captors know they sang louder they sang louder now we're all going to to face judgment one day I think that's that is inevitable whether you are Christian Jewish Buddhists Zoroastrian whatever we are all going to be judged you know because really I believe this is a spiritual universe and we are judged for what we do that's right and what we don't do that we should and what we do that's evil most of the cynic really is not doing what you should do when you are called to do so so we're going to be judged now on that day of judgment when you have to stand before God and give account of yourself because we're told that's what will happen what do you want to say do you want to say I fought and fought and sweated blood for this great
nation you gave us or would you rather say I had the greatest amateur golf scorer in the whole county what would you rather say what's going to resonate more through history and here's a question imagine that German Christian in that little church and he was a good man he went to church every Sunday his whole life he studied the Bible he prayed he put money in the collection plate he was involved in church affairs he was on the fundraising committee he was a good Christian he was a great member of his community he was a might have been a city local city counsellor might have been in the local hospital board you know he was honest in business he employed several people he was loyal to his wife he raised a good family an absolute vital person absolute just you know sort of the man who would expect to go to heaven if he carried on that trajectory but on the one day he was asked to prove his faith by having the courage to love his neighbor as himself he failed
miserably so who would you rather be on judgment day would you rather be that good German Christian who lived a blameless life but on one day he morally failed his courage failed him because his faith failed him would you rather be that man would you rather be the 19 year old boy from Omaha Nebraska or San Diego California or Joe Harrisburg South Africa who died face down in a pool of blood on Omaha Beach who would you rather be folks would you rather be that good German Christian who failed or that young boy just at a high school maybe never beat the church in his life but he stood up for what was right and he risked his life for what he believed in and he died face down in the sand charging German machine guns across an open beach who would you rather be on the day of judgment
folks is it hard to figure out who do you think on the God more who do you think it's more likely to be by God's side today when you're making moral decisions folks when you're citing whether to be brave or cowardly or pretend you're brave but not really just trying to fool God when you make those moral decisions you understand you're not going to fool God he knows that you know you're supposed to be doing stuff and he knows you know you're supposed to be making bold stands he knows you know you're supposed to be loving your neighbor as thyself he knows all that you're not going to fool him people you know why kid yourself you're going to be at God's side when you're heading straight to hell because you're a coward because that's what God says the cowards and the faithless go to heaven first what is faith the belief that despite all of the odds
that good is out there God is good and if you make those moral decisions the best possible outcome will happen it doesn't mean that a great outcome you may die your family may die who knows but they were probably going to die anyway and now you've made a moral stand you're proven to God that you have faith in him and the long fullness of time what's the better decision to be a coward or a standard faith encourage what is the better decision where is that German Christian today 60 years after 70 years after World War II he's probably dead now but where is he where is he spiritually where is that young boy from Omaha who died on an Omaha beach where I see today I think I would rather be the young boy personally I think 70 years into the future I'd rather be the young boy what do you think so I hope you have been challenged by some of the things I've said
today I'm sure they contradict what you've been taught in church or contradict what you think about Christianity contradict your own personal views but please tell me where I'm wrong I'd rather be told by you in a comment that I am wrong and why then the continues to make a fool of myself around the country preach it you know speaking views such as this so I want to leave you with that food for thought God bless America God bless you God bless this great great country thanks so much for listening see you next week God bless
