Omenihu Joins Commanders, Boosts Defense

The 6-foot-5, 280-pound veteran is entering his eighth season in the league. He sounded fired up when talking to reporters, saying he can spot a solid plan right away, and that this team's approach feels like a winner. He broke down what excites him most, like handling one-on-one blocks in the run game, and rushing inside on passes. Omanihu loves the idea of a four-man, or five-man front-with-games, twists and stunts to pressure quarterbacks. He's clearly done his homework on the new roster, naming ed rushers like Oway and Sheson, plus Javan Kinla, Doran Payne, Doran's Armstrong, and even his old Chiefs teammate, Leo Chanal.
