About this episode
Joining me on the podcast this week and the last episode of the year is the well known-figure, entrepreneur and good friend of mine - Ollie Proudlock. This episode is a special one, where we discuss Proudlock’s personal journey after having lost 3 family members to heart related conditions, leading him to share his ambitions for 2025.
10 years ago, Proudlock ran his first marathon with his father supporting him from the side line. Unfortunately his father tragically passed away 6 years ago from a heart related condition, so next years marathon, his second in London, will be to honour his legacy and continue his work to raise awareness and funds for those affected by heart conditions. His father may be gone, but his memory lives on with Proudlock, with the challenges he continues to face head on and achieve.
Family is at the centre of all he does, he opens up about fatherhood and how this has changed his outlook on life, as well as being immensely supported by one of the strongest woman in his life - his wife Emma.
Proudlock has been in the public eye and has seen and experienced it all, it’s fascinating to hear what his biggest learning has been through the years of TV and building his business Serge Denimes and how these important lessons have shaped him to be the man he is today.
