Okonkwo's New Role: Big Numbers Ahead?

They signed Daniel Belinger to a three-year, $24 million deal right after the negotiating window opened, essentially replacing O'Conquo. Days later, O'Conquo inked a similar contract with the Washington Commanders. O'Conquo had been a steady pass catcher for the Titans over four seasons. The former Maryland star put up over 450 receiving yards each year, even on an offense that struggle for consistency. Still, he lacked the blocking skills to be a full-time tight end. Now with Washington, O'Conquo spoke out on a podcast and didn't hold back about his time in Tennessee. He hinted that the team's offensive leaders held him back from his full potential. He's thrilled to step into a bigger role in the passing game from week one. His stats last season ranked him solidly among Titans. 15th in targets with 76, 16th in receptions with 56, 18th. In yards with 5060 and two touchdowns, he clearly believes he can do even more.
