Oklahoma Misses NCAA, Moser Returns

They kept the momentum in the SEC tournament, beating South Carolina and Texas A&M before falling to Arkansas in the quarter finals. But an awful starting conference play doomed them, including a nine-game losing skid from early January to early February. Players, coaches and fans had high hoax after that surge, but this marks the fourth time under Coach Porter Moser that Oklahoma has missed the tournament. He praised the program's underdog spirit and said it's on the coach to keep performance matching their resources. It's still up in the air if the Sooners will play in another postseason event like the NIT, where fewer power conference teams have shown up lately. For now, the focus shifts to building for next season.
