Nurses' Thailand Mission: First-Aid & Fun

0:00On March 2nd, two nurses from a Birmingham care facility made an incredible journey of 6,000 miles to volunteer in Thailand. Ben Roberts, a learning disabilities nurse and Holly Hunt, a mental health nurse, both from signet-seaters, spent two weeks helping out a charity for, underprivileged and orphan kids. The group, called Phuket, has been good to us, runs a school with Aramaquat Care. It teaches English through hands-on activities to children, without families. Ben and Holly jumped in with sports events, cooking sessions, and steady help to keep the kids engaged. For these nurses, giving back feels natural in their line of work. Their whole team at the 23-bet facility rallied with fundraisers all through 2025. That support covered travel costs and let them pack essential donations. They handed over first aid supplies, toys, sweet treats, oral care kits, and antiseptic creams. Everyone at the charity appreciated the boost, as it runs mostly on outside help.
