The King will reply, truly I tell you whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers
and sisters of mine you did for me.
When I started high school I was very shy and had no friends at school.
When I entered the cafeteria for a lunch and looked for a place to sit, it seemed that
everyone was already sitting with their friends, talking, laughing and enjoying their food.
When two students welcomed me to sit with them, it was such a relief not to have to sit alone.
Ira and Terry were who were both Christians, showed me kindness and helped make the school
day much better for me.
I felt included and wanted and I will never forget the way they showed God's love to me.
People today especially young people face similar situations.
When we see someone sitting alone we can go and be a friend, welcoming them and sharing
God's love and inclusion.
When we do as consequences and our compassionate actions can change lives for the good.
Dear Father, help us to be a beacon of hope to others, welcoming them as you welcome us.
