His role shrank this past season, dropping to just 37% of defensive snaps compared to 76% the year before. That dip came partly because veteran Jonathan Jones took over more reps before signing his own one-year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles over the weekend. Meanwhile, the commanders move quickly to bolster their secondary by adding cornerback Amick Robertson early in free agency. Igben again's 808 snaps in 2024 marked a career high, showing his potential before the playing time cut back.
