Niners' 2026 Draft Class: Elite Athleticism, Uncertain Future

A few teams ahead, like Tampa Bay, Cleveland and Philly, got booze from players without scores, so the Niners could climb higher. Fifth round tackle, Enrique Cruz Jr. led the pack at 9.87, with cornerback Ephesians' prysok and linebacker Jaden Dugger Wright, behind at 9.75 and 9.60. Not everyone's soul, though. Analysts Warren Sharp ripped General Manager John Lynch, calling this the worst draft in the NFL by his draft capital over expectation metric. Sharp's ranked Lynch no higher than 28th the last four years straight. He says Lynch reaches too far for picks that just don't pan out, even with all that speed and explosion on paper.
