After double-digit matchups the past couple nights, my top picks are the Montreal Canadiens to win outright as road underdogs against the Ottawa. Senators at plus 154 odds. I'm also taking the over six and a half in that game at minus 115 and the under six and a half for Washington Capitals at Philadelphia Flyers. At minus 135, Montreal impressed last night with a 3-1 win over Toronto, limiting them to 18 shots. Now they head to Ottawa on the second night of a back-to-back where they've gone six wins and five losses this season. The Senators wrapped a strong road trip with victories in Calgary, Seattle, and Vancouver, but had only one day off. Both teams lean toward high-scoring games, especially these rivals. Montreal's overs are seven, three, and one in back-to-backs and all three meetings this year topped the total.

Washington scored seven against Calgary Monday, but that feels like an outlier. Their recent head-to-heads were low. Flyers 1-4-2 on February 3rd, Cap's took three to one on the 25th.
