Life can feel overwhelming, but on my podcast from the heart with Rachel Brayton were in it together. Every Friday brings you a new story. Listen to From the Heart with Rachel Brayton wherever you get your podcasts. You guys started with the football and DJ more to the bills from the Bears. The Bears also released and remain Edmonds and the Texans giving Danielle Hunter a one-year extension worth $40 million. You had the hype. They gave him a one-year extension. Yeah. So they obviously had to give him some money up front. I would think there has to be some sort of signing bonus I would think that it's got to be. I mean, how many of your works? I guess I'm wondering if he has what the only one year left in his contract, maybe. I'm not sure. And then you had the Trent McDuffy move with the Chiefs the other day. So Trey Smith, Chiefs guard was on with K Adams on up in Adams and he was talking about like player movement and you know, it's disappointing when guys take off. It sucks to lose any teammate. It's like Francis, my dad has got to share love him, man. A brother, you know, that's that's a big point.

It's well. It's like, that's my brother. Now he's not gone. Now he's gone. Duff leaving as well. You know, it's always tough to see a brother come and go. I tell people that's one of the hardest parts about playing in the NFL. No, one thing he did make clear though is with the Chiefs because they've been so good and they've replaced players with the draft and other ways, full confidence in their front office. There's a lot of guys they didn't define it deep in the draft. So for us, we have full confidence in them. And picking up talent returns and that's always a every year thing. Like they're just great at it. So that was trace. The one they always say is, you know, the players are commodities and none of these contracts are really worth any the paper that they're signed on. When they say four years, $98 million, you know, with $40 million guaranteed, like to remain Edmunds is finding out. Yeah. His final year of his contract is not guaranteed. So they just release him. Let him go. So those contracts we don't mean much other than spreading out the impact that it has on the salary cap. He's 27 and we'll be coveted and it's going to sign a, no, he should, hopefully he does. I mean, and a guy like Trent McDuffy, who gets traded to a team that has to spend money,

he's in the right spot because they have to extend him and they have to give him a big signing bonus because of the position he played and for the amount of stuff, the amount of assets that they gave up for him. And then lastly from the NFL, did you play with Willie Anderson in your last year? I did. Yes. So did you see he had a kidney transplant? Yes. I know he's been waiting for one. And so it was good news. I sent him a message this morning. Nice. And yeah, the other thing out of the NFL unfortunately said is Kevin Harlan. He lost his dad, Bob, who passed away at the age of 89 and that was announced yesterday. I did see that as well. Yes. The net's lost to the heat 126 to 110. You got the Nixon Denver tonight. Last night, the nuggets beat the Lakers, 121, 13, Nicola Jokic, the triple double 28, 13 and 12. He says we were in control. I think we know what we want to do and we're really trying to kind of do that and force. We want to dictate what our things are going to do.

Let's say like that. So easy for you to say. And now they can do it against the next tonight. That should be interesting. You had in the loss, LeBron James broke Kreme Abdul-Jabbar's record for career field goals made something in the neighborhood of like 15,200, just a crazy, crazy number. Also basketball related. You've got this whole Atlanta, the Atlanta Hawk thing with the magic city and the wings and the strip club, whatever the hell it is. Michelle Beatle and her podcast was going after Luke Cornett a little bit and his plea about trying to stop this night in Atlanta. He wrote a long, long blog about why the Atlanta Hawks should respectfully rescind magic Monday, which is in a couple of weeks. And it was the gist was respect for women yada yada as a woman. I am not offended by the idea of magic Monday. She would go on to say this is more than a strip club. Magic city for anyone who's been to Atlanta or lives in Atlanta or goes, it's not just

like a, it's not a bar, it's not just a day bar. Like I feel like that's sort of the vibes that maybe people are getting. I've never put on what else is going on there. I looked at their website. It's a classy booby bar. I don't have to get a lap dance and go play skew all night. I don't know, but Shaq is on the on the website. Oh, he is. I'm pretty. I'm Jennifer and I'm Angela Kinsey and we have the podcast office ladies every Wednesday will be sharing even more exclusive stories and lots of laughs. Follow and listen to office ladies on the free Odyssey app and wherever you get your podcast. So by the way, Luke Cornette used the word respectfully in his criticism of the whole thing. He said respectfully. I guess that word didn't mean anything to Michelle. Well, she says we don't want or need help us as women. Secondly, and most importantly is thank you white night.

I don't need, we don't need to say, I've had enough of men telling us what we can and shouldn't what we should want and what we need and how we should act. No, no, no. Lastly, she says there's nothing illegal going on here. These are not trafficked 12 year olds, okay? We have that and none of those people are being brought forward. This is not that. These are grown-ass women who have a job. And I don't understand if are you shaming that industry as part of this blog? Like I can't really understand the motivation. And then talking about the fact that he's got like, what do you call it? Looking for signatures to get this thing stopped. Imagine Luke Cornette showing up in your doorstep. Thank you for signing this. Stopped his strip call night at the Hawks game. And by the way, I just went to the Magic City site and they're there. They're shacking sitting right there and he's talking and it says welcome to Magic City. America's most important club and that's GQ magazine. Right. Yeah, I mean, one thing's for sure.

This is one of the most genius promotions that approach team has done in a very long time. Because if you go to Atlanta now, what do you think of first? Well, Magic City. Correct. I mean, both of them. Well, I will tell you and you should go because as Dremon Green says, when you go there, man, what you are going to see? It's actually an art. Like, I don't know if you've ever been, but like if you see it in action, it's actually a form of art. That's some choose to indulge in and some choose not to indulge in. That was, that was on his podcast. To breast. Yeah, well, there's a lot of that too. That is very true. I mean, Magic City, I got to believe that Shaxx got to be a part owner of it. Don't you think? I would imagine or maybe, I mean, he owns everything. He's also in every commercial for everything. So maybe they just, you know, hired him to put his stamp of approval on it. But yeah, I mean, sometimes when you see the booty cheeks clapping together, it's like watching Van Gogh take brush to Candace.

It really is. It's an art form. You go, you hang upside down on the pole, boob's in face. Very large breasts. If you want to see some good art on their website, click images. Okay. I'm very excited. Because yeah, they do have that. So photos. Yeah. I would imagine if Shaxx is part owner, they're selling some Papa John's there. And you can also buy some insurance from the general. Right. And I see how if the girls grind too hard, Shaxx big chicken, I'm sure it's also there. That's right. Yeah. The general. One of these brought the general there. Oh boy, that's funny. Rutgers did lose at number eight Michigan State 91 to 87. You've got St. John's playing seat and hall at the rock tonight. How about your Rangers last night? They scored a whole bunch of goals in one. There's a lot for gear. It's a manager. He scores. That's it. That's the length of the highlight they gave me for seconds. But yeah, Mika's advantage ad.

Mike's advantage ad had a goal in two assists. Six two was the final as they beat the Maple Leafs. Igor Shasturkin at made 29 saves. Meantime, the islanders continued at West. They were in Los Angeles against the Kings last night. Remember our Timmy Panarin? Oh, yeah. Go on L.A. Panarin, stick handling. Had that one blocked by Bo Hervet. Skitters off to the corner. Shaper against Copa Tarr. Panarin alone. Skats. In the Kings Stake first. And that was Mike Monaco with the call. Panarin left him wide open. Also had an assist in this game. I know Patrick Wapold, the goalie very early in this game to try and get back in it. But they wanted losing five to three. Here was Waw. Came up short, but we did battle. What I love about our group is we don't let circumstances affect us. We stick to our habits. And I think that's what I love about the group right now. And congratulations to Anjay Copa Tarr,

the L.A. Captain had an assist while playing in his 1500th game, 25th player in NHL history to do so. So that's kind of cool right there. Overshadowing Al's 25th radio out of her city yesterday. We were all talking about that. And to lots of Copa Tarr had this milestone. And then the news cycle just fluffed him away. I'm confused about that. I saw the FAN posted. Congratulations to 25 years at WFAN. Yeah, that was incorrect. Right, it's at the company. Yes, okay. We're making sure I saw that properly. So congratulations. Oh, thank you, Chair. 25 years. And tonight in Houston, the team USA plays Brazil, WBC, Giant Sace, Logan Webb, but we'll make the start. With the New Year upon us, there's no better time to take control of your finances.
