For the NFL, it's March 10th, here's what's happening. Make sure you're subscribed so you never miss an update. The NFL just announced 33 compensatory draft picks for the 2026 draft, but the New York Giants came away empty handed. These extra picks go to teams that lose more or higher value free agents than they bring in during the off season and they fall somewhere between the 3rd and 7th rounds. 15 teams shared the picks with the Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Baltimore Ravens, each grabbing, multiples while the New York Jets landed too. In a special twist outside the usual rules, the Detroit Lions got a third rounder because the Jets hired Aaron Glenn as head coach under the leagues. Minority hiring program though that pick has already been traded to the Jacksonville Jaguars. For the Giants, this means sticking with their current picks heading into the draft on April 23rd through 25th in Pittsburgh, unless they swing some trades beforehand.
