NFC West: Rams, 49ers Challenge Seahawks' Reign

Seahawks are the defending champs after grabbing that Super Bowl last year, but the Rams and 49ers are loading up to challenge their crown. Seahawks took some tough losses in free agency, shipping out defenders like Rick Wullen, Boyet Mayfay, and Kobe Bryant, plus their star running back. Kenneth Walker III. They snagged wide-out Rashid Shaheed and a few role players like running back a manual Wilson, but nothing's filling that backfield void yet. Rams went all in with a massive trade for all pro cornerback Trent McDuffy and fellow chiefs champ, Jalen Watson, turning their shaky secondary into a lockdown unit overnight. Meanwhile the 49ers are getting future Hall of Famers, Fred Warner, and Nick Bosa back after missing nearly the whole 2025-26.
