I'm Adam Wilbur.

01Andy H. Murray, the H stands for Hey Andy, shop with this tired gimmick already. No, I love it and this is the after news. Let's kick this one off by talking about Chris Jericho, the master of reinvention in the wrestling. The man who every single freaking time you think has run out of ideas, you think is getting stale, you think is done, cooked, finished. He comes up with someone else that makes you pop. He's an absolute wizard when it comes to this stuff and admittedly later in his career, maybe not as peeking as highly, right? I think we all prefer a champion to the learning tree, for example. However, he's just filed a new trademark application and it hints to something that I think is pretty interesting. I've deliberately not read this story so I don't know what this is. It's clearly going to be a nickname, I think, because this is what he does. Okay. This is what he does. He owns these eyepiece and he files them in advance, but he's registered this with the USPTO. It is for the word cornerstone.

03Okay, and this is for like merch sweatshirts, hoodies, bandanas, hats, socks. I buy some cornerstones socks, why not? But also pro wrestling stuff as well. These are the listed reasons for the application with the USPTO. Now, the interesting thing about this for me is the word specifically. This man's career has been the subject of much debate over the past year, really. With lost the speculation on the WWE return, the Royal Rumble was rumored very heavily. It did not happen. It since came to light that his AW contract had been extended due to his time away from television. He's been away since like April last year. Cornerstone is an interesting word. To me, that sounds more like an AW thing than a WWE thing. Yes, because Chris Jericho truly is a cornerstone of AW. He was the first world champion and a very important bloke. It's a good point. For the first few years, if not longer than that. In WWE, he had an incredible career.

06Great career. Fantastic. Many highlights. Some of his best, most of his best work. He was never the cornerstone of WWE. No. So maybe I'm looking into this one too much. You tell me. But does this hint maybe at an AW return rather than the WWE jump? I would assume so. Yeah, I think you make a really good point out there, Andy. I hadn't really considered it. It also, you know, WWE not telling. I'm big size in all this, but they kind of go for more like best and the best or whatever and things like that. King of kings. Exactly. Catch crazy things more than just sort of a title. And yeah, this just feel like it could well be signalling. Fingers crossed. People think that I want this to happen because I don't want him back in WWE. I don't really care right now. I think if it asked me when he was in the midst of the learning tree, do you want him back in WWE? I'd have been like, not really to be honest. Sure. But as we said, quite a lot during this time in these latter stages of the eight-a-week career, go away. Make me miss you. Yes. And I miss him now. I want to see what he could do as

10when he comes back. It's been a sufficient amount of time. Like you say, he's the master of reinvention. I lost count of the amount of times, even just recently on the AW podcast where we'd be like, he's done. Game off the screen. If he appears next week, I'm going to flip this table or whatever. Then he appears and you're like, that's pretty decent actually. It's kind of good. Or like a match that you thought was, you've got no chance of hanging with someone. Bambido is probably the most recent example, yeah. But yeah, I suspect. And I think we sort of speculate on this a while back. I think what needs to happen, and let me know if you're a fan of either company or how you feel about all this, I think you need to have another shortish six months, let's say, running AW as the cornerstone, let's say, put someone over on his way out and then just have his farewell tour in WWE genuinely. Yeah, for sure. I think that the contra being extended probably factors into what his next move is. Obviously it does. But while I do want to see him go back to WWE, it's just pure nostalgia,

13really. And to see what he does there, see how he interacts with like a completely new roster to where he was last year. I also think that if he did wrap, so that's my preference, I would like to see that. But I also think that if he chose to wrap his career in AW as well, it would be fine too, is it great? I mean, I think both companies would do a really good job of a Chris Jericho retirement tour. If you look at what WWE did, I mean, John Cena, obviously, they're not going to give him a full year like Cena, because Cena was the franchise player for 20 years, but they'll do right by him. If you look at the AJ style, which I thought it was much shorter, but it was absolutely great. And the way they celebrated him after the last match as well, was really encouraging. And then over here, if you go look at AW and look at what they did for Sting, he's got two really good choices, if when he says you buy. You can do it in AW and then be like, right, do both of them. And then he can do a third retirement tour on his boat. Why not? But I think he's got to know Japan for a bit. Yeah, the paymaker, the alpha, all that stuff. I just don't just say their thoughts, sorry, as you're talking

16there about like, oh, who could he interact with in WWE? And I was thinking like, oh, you know, you know, Pong obviously he's got history there and this Romans this. And then I thought, oh my god, Chris Jericho could be in a ring with trick Williams and my head nearly fell off. Why two lemon pepper steps? Does that work? He definitely hitches wagon to trick, wouldn't he? He said he's got a history of like, you're all the popular. You're cool and you're over. Why two Javon would probably happen at some point, right? Like who's getting over? I can't think of a pun to put like Stephanie for carrying though, but there's probably one why two judgment day. Yeah. Yeah, he's going to do all these things. He can't help himself. No. Just like you can help yourself when you see a delicious offer on the table with friends. If you're cruising and bruising on the internet and big 26, you need to protect yourself. You need to lock your data down. You need to secure yourself, especially when you're using public Wi-Fi connections. Also, if you want to have the luxury of accessing your content on streaming platforms, wherever you are in the world, be it your net, maybe you're from the UK, you have my A.W.

19You want to watch, you know, those options. Maybe you want to watch Disney Plus. You want to watch Netflix from your whole area. You can do so at the press of a button. We have a wonderful deal from our partners at NordVPN. The link is in the description, the pinned comment and in the QR code. It's 77% off four months for free and an Amazon gift card. You need to be fast. Well, this deal expires tomorrow. Means you have like 36 hours or thereabouts before this one goes away. It's the deal of the year. I was trying to come up with a rhyme. I don't have one. Sign up. Yes. But let's look ahead to WrestleMania 42 and in case you missed it on Smackdown last week, Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatou might be dead. They fell off some scaffolding to close last week show. They cannot stop fighting each other, basically. Obviously after, well, indications are, there has not been confirmed that Drew McIntyre and Storm and I were the reason Jacob Fatou had to take time off. And then obviously Jacob, well initially cost Cody, but definitely cost Drew.

20Here's WWE Championship on this road to WrestleMania. They cannot stop fighting and they are obviously set for a big brawl at WrestleMania. With a very interesting sip, we talked a while back about them doing quite a few stipulation matches potentially at Mania this year and sources indicate to self-made pro that the big scaffolding, falling angle at the end of last week's Smackdown is leading to hell in a cell between Jacob Fatou and Drew McIntyre next month. Hell yeah. Hell yeah. It's a pretty good, not record, you know, the last obviously. But quality records. Yeah. I love it. I've never seen a bias first. I've never seen Hell in a cell live. I don't know what that'll be like because you know, maybe the visibility isn't perfect, but I've never seen it live and I want to. Yeah, it's not ideal, but it is also Hell in a cell. I watched Finn Balaget quite a few staples in his head if I remember rightly the last time I watched one of those. There you go. So selfishly, I'm in. I love it. Also, like Hell in a cell is classic gimmick match of WWE and it's won the Under Vince when it was something that just happened

25because it was a date on a calendar and you needed to fill a pay per view with the name. It kind of got a little bit washed out and a little bit overdone and it was like, this used to be the match where when you were young and you watch people step into it, their careers are getting shortened. The Armageddon Hell in a cell with the six lads to me felt like the end of the world appropriately. And it was kind of chipped away and evaporated over the years because they did it too much and it was used for feuds that didn't feel like career-shortening stuff. When you use it, as Triple H has, once in a blue moon, once every year and a half or whatever, however long ago Drew versus Punk was, feels big, feels meaningful, feels threatening again. So I love the use of it. I love that they're going to do it this year and I am all for Drew and Jacob doing insane things to each other in that big red cell. Okay, me and Hamlet are going to be talking about it on the, I mean, it's probably already out by the time you see this news, but we're talking about it on the Smackdown preview podcast because yeah, it's escalating and escalating and escalating and they cannot stop fighting and yes, you can say, oh, they'll do like a Las Vegas Street fight or whatever. To be honest,

29I think you could give that stipulation to Punk and Roman, for example, to even spice that one up a little bit more auto to Cody and Randi Orton. Yeah, I think Hell in a Cell makes the most sense, like you say for for Drew and Jacob because they're two nutters who have escalated this to such an extent that the Smackdown general manager has to be like, how about it with you, too? Lock you down, boys. I'm going to lock you down. Hell in a Cell. Yeah, I'm looking forward to it. Me too. I'm looking forward to WrestleMania, man. I'm looking forward to WrestleMania weekend. I'm looking forward to four free shows that we are putting on a cross-reslamania weekend on the Friday in the Monday. So here's something in a second. We are planning to have a Smackdown Raw Watch Party at Beer House in New York, New York, the hotel in Casino. But you can see no, not the city. Beer House. Yeah, live-ups and downs podcast. And more, obviously, we said Raw Watch Party there. Right now, there's a blackout on those. That might change, but regardless, we'll have a Raw after party. Okay, so come and join us for that one. Come and have a beer.

31Yeah, and on Saturday and Sunday, we are in the wonderful public house in Luxor for post-reslamania, ups and downs, a live-reslamania review podcast, meet and greets, all that good stuff. Tickets, as I said, are free, but register your interest right now. Whatcoach.com forward slash live. We will see you there. Come meet the boys. Come say hello. We have a really funny comment yesterday. What was it? What kind of video would want to meet these two mutants? There's something like that. Can I pay money? Yeah, it's fine. We're lovely. I'll have you to. We'll also be south to that point. Yeah, exactly. We are two of the most lovely man you could ever meet. And also, if you hate us, that's fine. Simon Miller's going to be there. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Exactly. So everyone shows us out the way anyway. Out of the way, Miller's there. Yeah, you're loser. All right, two truths in the lie. Here we go. I went to college with college football coach Jim McElwain. I began my broadcasting career doing play by play for the Las Vegas stars. And I've been a Verizon customer for 15 years. Okay, I lied. All three are true.

31A Verizon isn't as expensive as you think. In fact, if you're bringing your 18-in-tier T-mobile bill, to a Verizon store, they'll give you a better deal. That's right. A better deal on the best network with the most ways to save on plans, streaming and phone deals. So take that 18-in-tier T-mobile bill, the your local Verizon store today. Get a better deal and start saving. Based on root metrics, best overall mobile network performance, US second half, 2025. All right, it's reserved. Must provide a recent consumer mobile bill in the name of the person redeeming the deal. Additional terms, conditions and restrictions apply. That new thing? Yeah, we've got it. The drop by GNC bringing you all the newness that matters, handpicked by the pros who actually know what's up and what's proven to work. The drop by GNC is where the latest solutions in health and wellness land first, non-stop innovation and fresh fines daily. Explore what's new and what's

32next on the drop by GNC. Hey, this is Adam Grant, host of Ted's podcast, rethinking with Adam Grant. If you heard of Bill, it's the intelligent finance platform that uses AI to help you avoid costly errors and optimize cash flow. In fact, Bill reports that over 90 of the top 100 US accounting firms trust them to manage, move and maximize money, proven by over a trillion dollars in secure transactions. Eliminate the friction and start scaling with the proven choice. Visit bill.com slash proven to talk with an expert about automating your business finances and get a $250 gift card as the thank you. That's bill.com slash proven. Terms and conditions apply to offer page for details. Right, should we talk about Bianca Belier? Please. So good news about Bianca. We've had a couple of bits of good news about her recently, but she's back in trading. This is great. She's been gone for a year, pretty much 11 months. According to body slam, she has started some light training as she begins the road to in-ring

34recovery and returning to WWE basically. So if you've not been following Bianca's situation, she was injured in that incredible triple threat, a WrestleMania last year with EOS Sky and Rear Ripley. She was really damaged her finger. Shatter a knuckle. She did. Details were very scarce while she returned to be a special referee later in the year, but details were really scarce on it and it was just kind of reported as a finger injury. It turns out that yeah, her knuckle was just wrecked through all of this and recently she has shared some some surgery photos and some x-rays and stuff to show the extent of the damage. So it's been like a very tricky and complicated injury that she's had to recover from. It's interesting because you hear as an uneducated medical person, as a non-doctor, you hear finger injury and you automatically think a couple of months, but obviously these things are very complex. This is a very complex joint you have there. You see, yeah, you kind of need to be able to grip and pick people up

36when you're a pro wrestler. So it's been a long absence for one of our log absence, like she was a lumberjack and she's been cut down trees. It's been a long absence for one of my personal favorite wrestlers in WWE. I've missed her a lot. I can't wait till she's back. If you don't cheer when Bianca Bella comes back, I'm going to come around your house and kick your ass. I love Bianca Bella. I think she's with my hair. The women's division is obviously just as stacked. But she's still missing. She's just amazing and the fact that we've been for, let's say, nine months, let's say, nine months. She gets injured at WrestleMania. We go like, oh, it might be a while. For the last nine months who's sat here and gone, Bianca will probably be back by this time, right? She'll probably be in the rumble or something. She'll be back at WrestleMania. Jade needs him as a WrestleMania. Look, awful for her. I know she must have been terrible to go through because it's one of those things where if you break your leg, for example, never would wish that on anyone obviously. But you break your leg. Generally, you go, okay, I'm going to have to put it in a pot

39and elevate it and just be going around like that for a bit. Then after a while, I have to take the pot off and do some exercise. And then generally, borrowing any surprises in six months or whatever, I'll be up and about and I can get back to training and get back to wrestling. One finger injury, right? Taking it out for a year. And like you say, if it's a hand injury, it's not like you can work around it. I mean, you might get jacked on the other side. But she presumably can't have done much training and she's a powerhouse wrestler. Yeah, yeah. And she springs about in her hands and stuff like that. I think she's set like multiple lifting records in the PC and stuff like that as well. So like, big part of her game is her strength and stuff. So if you can't grip, that's a real issue. So by a lot, I think Bianca's absolutely great. I love her long-tight Oriens man. I think her stadium record in big matches is absolutely never fails. Literally never fails. She's absolutely fantastic. The products, Mr. I missed watching her. I think the Jade feud is it's right there and I think it'll make a lot of money. So it'll be interesting to see

43how Jade, if she wins versus rear, it may be in transition into this or if they do, because I don't necessarily think it needs to tight all this for you. It's so personal based on the takeover. Jade's new stable. The takeover. Meach in and previously had the baddies obviously. Yes. Now she's got a new crew. I was thinking they could maybe if it was the baddies again, they could count her with the saddies. So I'll be Johnny Gargano. He's really sad at the moment. Well, not anymore. Oh no, yeah, he won the match. More Danhausen law. Yeah. Because they paid off Danhausen. And now, Johnny Gargano's in a more contented at the NXT North American title. Who else is sad that we could get in there? I mean, it was going to be pretty sad. Robert Smith from the Cure. Yeah. It's got some cheer up mates. Yeah. Come on, Bob. He watches the news. Hey, Bob Smith watches the news, man. We know it. Smitty. That's how we call it. Smitty. Yeah. Yeah. I hang out with my best meat, Robert Smith from the Cure all the time. But yeah, I'm really, really glad to hit the

43anchor values somewhat on the mend. Like you say, let's not rush her back. Light into the game. Please, God, let me be back soon on this as so much. Right. Let's finally talk about the big announcement that was made. Rest of us ready on Fight for Select. Learning that a WWE Saturday night's main event is planned for July 18th at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Obviously, same weekend as for that X-Fest WWE heavily involved in that. But huge this because, of course, this is the first time WWE will be in Madison Square Garden for Saturday's main event since August 2007. Only the second time it's ever happened. The first, ever live edition. I mean, they're swinging for the fences for this one, aren't they? Yeah, they are. They are. It's the spiritual home of WWE. God will always be the garden. I don't know what that means. Garden will always be the garden. So the G1 Supercard there years ago was awesome. It's a great venue, obviously. The shed will always be the shed. No, it's done for a long time, I believe.

45So we'll have lost my train of thought. I'm a Saturday night's main event fan. I enjoy this show. Love the test. Love the test. Love the this feck. Love that it's kind of no nonsense. It's just like here's some matches. I'm into that. I know a lot of people don't necessarily. Sometimes it's quite ad-heavy Saturday night main event. Yeah, but I watch on YouTube the day after me. It's fine. Fine for me, brother. So I like it. My one wish for this is that they go back to the old school vibe, right? Let's get that. You know that old WWE Madison Square Garden vibe where the tunnel is facing the heart. Yes, I like that. Let's get back to that, man. Let's get back to that. What are you doing there? Just just thought, I'll Google what the match what the show was from August 18th, 2007, Madison Square Garden. Well, we got, baby. Edge and MVP versus Crispy and War and Batista. Okay. John Cena versus The Great Carly. Yes. And Bobby Lashley versus ECW World Champion Mr. McMahon. I'll wrestling contest.

47Top that. So I imagine this year's card will be a bit more exciting than that. I don't know if they want to do numbers on YouTube. You're doing I'll wrestling contest or a wedding. Where's wrestling weddings gone? I know. We need a wedding. Who can get married in wrestling? On TV for us. That's not what it happened. That's no in the comment section below. Yeah, who's great? Shout out. Who wants it? Don't ship people, but like who's actually, you know, a couple who could get married on TV because I'm a brain doesn't work. That ship more you want. I don't care. Yeah. Why not? I'll get married to my partner on TV. There you go. On the wrestling news. Perfect. I do money. It would. Can I be the, what's it called, efficient? You can be the efficient. Yeah. Why not? That sounds like fun. I don't think she'd want that to be fair. Yeah, I think probably best to ask her first. Yeah, I'd also see her's best not to probably, like, praise your wedding in public like that. Either is it? Like, just you know, Trigger Williams and Lash Legend got engaged recently, didn't they? There you go. Let's do it. Let's do it. That'd be cute. Let's do it on SmackDown. Who'd be the efficient for that? Melo would probably be the best man. I'm going K-Fape here. Yeah. You got to get Cody, QB, don't you?

49Yeah, we're called man. Yeah, why not? Yeah. If you want to annoy him, you could get Sami's in a vault somehow. I was just rooting the wedding with you. And your aunt just comes in, breaks everyone's arms. Yeah, that would be a bit rude. That would be a bit rude. I pronounced you puntered. I pronounced you unconscious. Okay, in the head. A terrible wedding day. Thank you for joining us today. Yes. Two news videos. What a time to be alive. Check out the video on your screen. Shout out to NordVPN. Shout out to you. Have a nice weekend. Remember, if you go to sleep, don't have no ideas. Bye. That new thing? Yeah, we've got it. The Drop by G&C.
